AveromoeEVGA is apperiently dodging questions regarding 3080 supply for EU-costumers. Where is the point? I don't get it. No official announcments, nothing.

That plain lack of communication is a pita.
To make things worse, apparently we EU citizens are from every single evga.com subdomain except the eu store and the forums.
 
As I have a RVZ01-E case, I'm limited in terms of card width and height. The 3080 FE would be my first choice, the 3080 XC3 is the only custom model known to me that comes close to a 2-slot height. So apart from a 3080 TUF ( I'm running out of options, I guess. 

I am one of those who constantly messages Jacob for info regarding EU Stock and EU Situation. I have tried my best to put questions in such an order that they are clear without being abusive, demanding or mean. If sometimes I slipped to a more demanding demeanour, ye it happened. But generally try to post clean messages and intervene on topics that he replied about the Que Status on NA and other similar things that could give us any EU information.
 
If at first I received some answers, in September, now in October I have received no response for the past 2 weeks. Either he ignores me or he is sick of this question.
I see that sometimes he responds to this questions, like on a 2-3 day basis, with we are working on. But that answer is there since September.
 
My honest guess is that they are not interested to sell to the EU Market... or they have a real bad distribution sistem with a bad chain of logistic. The US Market starts to get better, and people are purchasing products daily if not at least 2,3 times per week. At least the FTW buyers.
 
Here in EU, we get basic no communication and no cards. Or very very few cards. And this is to retailers/etailers.
 
I sincerely believe that they focused all their care on the NA side, and are just sending bits to EU.
 
 
Another Issue is the non existance of the EU EVGA Store. I believe that there is no one there who even can operate the store on minimum capacity or low purchased items. The EU EVGA Store has been "dead" since January-February? acording to posts here on EVGA forum.
So I believe that they have no one to sell their GPU, even if they had one. Even the website work is taking a lot, and even the VAT FIX (Prices already had VAT + also asking for VAT) took a lot of time.
 
This is me saying that they basically not sell anything there at the moment with their staff or logistic. If they open the floodgates to the EU EVGA Store I don't think they can handle the selling of such a massive requested product. Yes... the que system will work in limiting those ammounts of orders, but that still requires some know how, and good logistics. 
 
I don't believe EU EVGA will aleviate this issue soon, and even if... even if they somehow open the QUE system.... there will be very few... to none cards sent every week. And I still believe that the batches they will have will go to other sellers, that have more experience, rather than their EU EVGA side.
 
But this are all theories, because we do not get any information. And the information we get is actual no information. No ETA, nothing actually more than soon TM.
 
I really liked the EVGA side at Custommer support, but if I can grap an Asus or Aorus One here in EU, I won't wait. The thing is no one has stock, so all we can do is wait. But will have wished to get any actual info.
Also not sure how EU EVGA compares to NA EVGA at custommer support. But from what I am hearing there, is not up to par with the NA side.

*Later Edit - A general stock with Nvidia 3000 launch will carry on for a long time. Either they are holding their stock for the AMD launch or they paper launched a product that was supposed to go out in 2021. Not in october, not in november but in 2021.
Might as well go to AMD.

I thought I was good with ~15th spot in queue with non-ultra FTW3, but now I looks like I'm super ****ed. Card is probably not even in a production yet, let alone shipping to EU.
 
I'm cancelling my order and switching brands. Atleast I can have confirmation that the card is in production, they are actually shipping products to EU and the product is what they promised. It's a month since launch and evga has a zero cards shipped.
 
This is by far the worst launch I've seen in my 15 years of building pc's. I really hope AMD nails it.

But 1150€ is way to much for a KF2A 3080 or any 3080 card?

No, thanks for that. We need to constantly inform each other with every bit of information because we get nothing from EVGA in this regard. But again, why should I choose EVGA again in the future while their communication politics is so poor? It's a shame.

Product quality and the ability to purchase additional warranty are the only reasons.

Service not so much. Unfortunately I agree with everyone here, and it feels like EVGA only focusses on their US market.

In a post yesterday I pointed out how one of the larger retailers here only received 3 EVGA cards, and Coolblue.nl a multi billion consumer electronics company isn’t expected to get cards till December/early 2021.

Yeah it has been very disappointing, I just wish there was better communication, nothing else.

Oh so its only 20 weeks from now till the pre-order queue has been shipped out😂

At least they could give us some more info. Maybe we should just try to get this thread as big as possible so they cannot ignore it anymore ;)

Question to you though, what do you want to hear? Do you want them to say "We have nothing to say on the EU" or do you want them to say the above? I'm looking at it from a business standpoint. They only have the product they have. You know NOTHING about what their EU contracts say, you know NOTHING about what hoops if any they have to jump through to send to EU stores. They could just stay silent and not answer any questions about EU at all.

for me i m in queve and wait for that notification, after that i will let them ship via myUs to Germany.
Shipping cost are nearly 41€ via DHL Express 1-5 days.

It's not just EU, also Canadian market is being ignored by EVGA. 
I "preordered" EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra on Sept 19 at one of the biggest store locations in the country.
I called the location weekly to verify the stock level, the location has got ZERO units of 3080 FTW3 Ultra in 4 weeks since the launch.
 
3000 Series launch is 100% a paper launch. I mainly blame Nvidia for this.
EVGA could have communicated with customers better on the situation in my opinion.
Saying ETA "weeks" is not good enough, 54 weeks is still classified as "weeks"... Right????????
