I ordered standard.There was never a need for express from Alternate.

I've ordered the FTW3 Ultra 3080 card at Megekko, numero uno on their list... So far I have received 0 information about when I will be getting my card. Not even an indication. When I inquire at Megekko they just play the blame game and point at EVGA for not giving any information.
 
In the meantime I check Twitter and I see wave 3 being sent to people in the States, and other brands also sending their waves 2 and 3 in Europe. 
And yea, I get it, EVGA is a American based company, but there should be some information available for us...
 
I am really starting to regret ordering this card, paying nearly 1000 euros for the ULTRA card....

Ordered a XC3 Black Gaming from Caseking at ~15:45, am at the end of the 1800xxx number. Payment method was normal bank transfer, but they told me the order is by booking number *not* by the transaction receive date
 
The support was very kind so far, I had some different questions unrelated to the availability. So I guess they handle the shipments fair. Maybe new stock comes in today in the evenings and that's why someone is getting it a bit unordered?
 
I'll report back as soon as I get my confirmation. Maybe I have luck in the next week :)

 
I ordered on Caseking at 15:15 a XC3 Black, order number 1799xxx for 699€ via PayPal and the order is still "processing".

Omg... I checked prices again at french etailers. 1100€ for the FTW3 Ultra instead of their old pricing at 1000€. For reference with french vat on EVGA EU Store its at 850€... That's a 29,5% margin difference... and that's even without the 5% rebate code on EVGA store...

We are probably lucky if 1000 cards have made it to Europe. I've heard Canada has been abysmal too.

Regarding the EU stock in general. Have a look at the stock from this large retailer who posted their stock.

They ordered a total of 8242 cards and received only 384.

Percentage wise you will have a far larger chance at getting a 3090.

The 3070 seems to be slowly stocking up and with the launch postponed till the end of the month we may have about 60 extra seconds to order a card.

LOL, EVGA is not even on that list! I'm waiting for my 3090 FTW3 Ultra here in The Netherlands @ etailer Megekko. I'm still 2nd in line for the first batch which won't even come. They don't exit, this is all a dream!

Depends on the country for the VAT. Germany has 16%. France is 20%.
Price VAT excluded for the 3080 FTW3 Ultra is 710€ (which is already 840$ if you're wondering). With France's VAT the card climbs up to 852€ (1008$). You can have a 5% rebate though, bringing the card down to 816.5€ (966$). Those are only EVGA EU Store prices though and as you can see, (almost) no stock yet.
If we're talking retailer side, you'll be very much happier to live in the US, as inflated " normal " price is 1100€ for this tier card in France (1301$). And that's not counting shipping fees either (usually between 3 to 10€). 
 
So yeah, when I hear US speaking of scalpers selling on Ebay the card for double your price, around 1400 / 1500$, well, it's almost the same for EU if you convert currency, except ours are " legit " retailers which to me is even worse because that's not just some people trying to profit, it's the whole system that tries to justify a fake excuse (fake because manufacturers don't increase price and thanks to EVGA for that btw, though I heard Nvidia has a say on the prices so I'm assuming they couldn't increase by much anyway, Nvidia wouldn't allow it.)
