a friend of me got his MSI 3080 last week. retailer said MSI is way better in communication. the guy told me dates where they expect a delivery from MSI. no evga dates available.

okay, now ill see a real challenge. which card will arrive first?
my evga ultra ftw 3, ordered 20 minutes after release. (17.09.)
or a MSI 3080 ordered last week.
this will be a close one. sadly.
My money is on the MSI :p That said im still gonna wait for my FTW3 to come.

Depending on how desperate I am... But in any way I'm not going to accept to be robbed by retailers. Amazon and EVGA EU Store are my only 2 go-to to buy. So for MSI I've only one store and it doesn't seem to be replenished at all so... Probably faster to get an EVGA for me.

they got me with cyberpunk RTX. so i sold my 2080S and now i have a 1080 in my pc. so its safe to say: im desperate to get a 3080 before november 19th. :D
with a early order on the ftw3 ultra and a late order on the msi trio i think im good to go. 5 weeks of time, i dont care which one will arrive me first. i know the evga is a bit more of quality (backplate, silent, OC potential etc.) but i dont really care. feeling disappointed about the philosophy of non-information in europe. :(

Regarding the EU stock in general. Have a look at the stock from this large retailer who posted their stock.
They ordered a total of 8242 cards and received only 384.
Percentage wise you will have a far larger chance at getting a 3090.
The 3070 seems to be slowly stocking up and with the launch postponed till the end of the month we may have about 60 extra seconds to order a card.
LOL, EVGA is not even on that list! I'm waiting for my 3090 FTW3 Ultra here in The Netherlands @ etailer Megekko. I'm still 2nd in line for the first batch which won't even come. They don't exit, this is all a dream!
!#%!#%! YEA! Just received word that Megekko are getting several FTW3 and FTW3 Ultra 3080 cards today, which means i'll have mine tomorrow, and since you are number 2 you should have yours tomorrow as well :D

ultra ftw 3 was 879 euro on day 1 (retailer in germany), the MSI one was 899 € last week.

So it seems that the XC3 Black-GPUs are one of those very rare ones, at least alternate.de does not have a clue when they are going to recieve some stock :(

Consumer prices are always included VAT in the Netherlands. This is not simply a VAT difference. The exact same RTX 3090 from INNO3D is available for pre-order for €1699,- at Alternate. Megekko, who is an official partner just like Alternate has them available in stock with next day delivery for a 300€ premium. I don't understand how an Nvidia Partner is allowed to crank up prices like this. They even ask €2210,- for an EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 FTW3 GAMING. That is 2609,76 USD (Tax included). Official partner what? These are scalper prices. Just like Starlit Inc was selling MSI's inventory on E-bay at double the price. Have a look at what they charge for the EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 FTW3 ULTRA GAMING. EVGA EU STORE:EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 FTW3 ULTRA GAMING €709,99 Exc VAT (€709,99 : 100 x 121 = €859,09) Megekko:EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 FTW3 ULTRA GAMING €1089,- (According to their site this is a discounted price, from 'only' €1999,-' That is a 229€ difference! From an OFFICIAL PARTNER.  That's 1285,98$ for a card that is advertised to be $699 in the US

I hope they will get more then a couple, I am number 7 in line at Megekko. Had some other cards on order aswell but cancelled them cause i want the FTW3 ultra.

iirc some guys on Amazon.fr managed to pre-order 3080 Strix on 11th of September, orders that were canceled / refunded a few days after 3080 launch day. So that's still a possibility. I'm guessing it's because they might have a clause or something that unless they have an ETA and such, past some point without informations they are obliged to cancel and refund orders ?
I'd assume it would be something like that anyway.
Though considering I'm waiting for EVGA and Amazon to step up their game in EU within the next days / weeks I would hope they do not cancel any preorder and focus on getting more cards here instead.
