I went on EKWB's site and looked up compatibility for the Black edition EVGA# 11G-P4-2281-KR. That is not listed on EKWB's site. Doesn't this card have same board as the others? Microcenter has the EK 2080 ti blocks on hand so it's a quick pickup. If these don't work, suggestions on what does?

It's the same as the 2382 model.

I thought The Black edition was using the Reference PCB, guess not. The Hydrocooper works for sure https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=400-HC-1389-B1 which is based on the reference PCB. Hence why FE cards work also. I would suspect EKWB hasn't updated the page or got the FTW mixed up. Edit: 2832 is supported under EWKB. So its just a type-o on EKWB website that the 81 isn't supported or "coming soon"

I'm feeling dense here. If you click on the 11G-P4-2281-KR it goes to a page and says "coming soon" no blocks are listed. Can we make the assumption the 2382 and 2281 are identical?

This is what I chose to go along with my 2080 Ti black order.

I thought about that one. I don't think it would get here next week if I order. Microcenter is down the road and has the EK blocks. That was more my thought process.

Thanks. Being out of the game for so long takes a while to get back up to speed. An X58 and GTX 780 are fairly ancient compared to today. I'll get there..... Thanks for the help!

Any preference out there between EVGA's block and EKWB? EVGA's comes with a back plate. Didn't want to wait for it but maybe it's better. Can also purchase an EK back plate. Without plate, EK is cheaper by $20 and no shipping. With Back plate, EK is $20 higher but I'm still not paying shipping. Kind of a wash in that regards. Performance/quality would play into it more.
