sale on SF units at Newegg has been extended, plenty in stock for the 1600W Plat and Titanium's @ $489.99 & $559.99 respectively, and should be noted that these are the equivalent s of the P2/T2 EVGA units as SF is the OEM. Lastly, as has been mentioned countless times on this, but more than what you need, +250W, personally I wouldn't take a chance on anything below 1000W to be safe, not to mention longevity just don't cheap out and buy a $100 PSU for a near 2k card.

I use a TX-1000w Seasonic titanium. Just love their PSUs and that was available on the day I planned to obtain. You don't need 1000w. 850w Gold+ should be sufficient. On my other PC that my son uses, I have a 3090FE running on 850 w titanium PSU and no issues

nice, sufficient yes however, as you've done it, I'd not go any less than Titanium on a lower wattage PSU, 1000W is still the minimum I'd go with long term, Platinum and above, higher the better per your budget of course.

Recently managed to score a evga 3080 Ti XC3 Ul Hybrid 12G can say loving it .... 9900k on a Corsair SFX 750 ... no problems, thought i d have problems but none so far, 9900k is set to stock no need to OC.

My sons computer is running the Corsair SFX750 (platinum) with the 3080Ti, so far for the past 2 weeks.
He was previously running a 3080 in this system, and one of my machine had the 3080Ti.
Thinking about putting the Kill-o-watt on it just to see how much it pulls when he is gaming.

Using a Corsair RM850x currently with my 3080ti ftw3 ultra with the hybrid kit. Unfortunately experienced tripping the PSU's OCP very recently, where previously it had been working fine since July or whenever the Ti was released. Only thing that comes to mind as the cause is that I added a couple more fans to my system recently and that probably ended up putting too much stress on the 12V rail.
I previously had the GPU hybrid radiator installed on the side of my case as an intake as I already had my CPU radiator on top (have a Lian Li O11 dynamic XL case). This made my CPU (5900X) temps super hot, 80-90C, while gaming so I ended up swapping the radiator positions and that's when I added the extra fans. That dropped the temps quite a bit. Had 14 fans total (4 in push/pull on 240mm GPU rad, 6 in push/pull on 360mm CPU rad, 4 other case fans) after installing the two extra so likely overkill but the 3080Ti is a beast, but I think that's what ended up making my system trip the PSU's OCP since it was working fine before I added the two extra fans.
Another thing is my Mobo has two EPS connectors, an 8pin and a 4pin (Asrock x570 phantom gaming x). I only connected the 8pin as from what I read at the time when I assembled the computer is the extra 4pin is only for extreme overclocking and it's been working fine without it connected. However I read some other stuff recently when trying to diagnose the cause of the OCP that said the extra EPS can actually help stabilize your +12V rail. I monitored my 12v rail with hwinfo while gaming and it did seem to drop pretty low. Lowest recorded was about 11.513V, which is technically in spec I believe (min is 11.4V iirc), but hovered around 11.6-11.7V the majority of the time under gaming load. 11.6-11.7V honestly still seems low to me, but it sits around 11.9V at idle. For now I disabled the extra fans and have a Corsair RM1000x PSU on the way. I'll probably end up connecting that 4pin EPS when the new PSU arrives, couldn't hurt. I just thought I'd share my experiences if it helps anyone experiencing something similar with the 3080Ti ftw3.

I was dead set on grabbing more headroom than I'd ever need with the 1600W P+, but even a stubborn ol' fart like me got to thinking, with ultimately having dual cooling loops, Alder Lake 16 core CPU, EVGA 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra, probably 64G ram on a likely Asus Maximus X1V Z690, Asus 43" ROG Strix XG438Q 4K (48W +/-) with EK blocks on mobo, GPU, CPU and a fair amount of RGB all housed in a 7000D Airflow case with 7x ML140mm Pro RGB fans so after reading, perhaps I may just power it with the 1300 P+ instead, at least to start, I'm open for thoughts, opinions here.
I used to run multi GPU's (always had them since GTX 2xx Series), prior to my 3080 / 3080Ti even ran Tri SLi 1080Ti's w highly OC 9900K...16 Fans...all under water... Best purchase I made was upgrading my Corsair 1200i to a Corsair Titanium AX1600i ....so back to single GPU after many years but will continue to rock my 1600i, best PSU on the market imo!!

I am using a 650W be quiet! Using a watt meter the whole system is in idle ~ 65W and overclocked ~ 515W. See signature for details.

Running a Corsair RM850x on a 3080ti XC3 and 10900k. No issues with shutdowns or anything. My UPS has a watt meter on it and it sits just under 600 watts at times.

that's pretty crazy the most I've seen out of my 3080ti ftw 3 and 10900k is 729 at 100% power limit from the wall and that was in rog real bench so above gaming load. Pretty crazy to think you some how managed to trip ocp on a 5900x. That 12v drop is pretty low and counting software accuracies it's to close to me. But it could just be with all your fans and pumps and possibly maxed out power limit on the 3080ti you are bumping into 850w would be interesting to see with a killawatt meter what your pulling from the wall

if I understand right the SF Leadex 1600W Titanium is newer by 3 or 4 years than EVGA's like unit? which btw is a SF OEM manufactured for EVGA

Corsair HX 1200. The name should give it away as a 1.2kw PSU. Platinum rated. Now I probably could have done a 1k and been fine but given I will be running a 5900X and a 3080 Ti when my name comes up in the que I wanted to be closer to the maximum efficiency of that PSU. PSUs don't run their maximum efficiency at their rated watts. More like into the 40-60% range. You also don't want to run a PSU at close to it's rated max as that will cause it to run hotter. It will run that way just fine, yes, but that will shorten the lifespan of the PSU.

And "silent".....the only time I hear the fan on my AX1600i is when it self tests at initial boot...my fan is collecting dust ;)

my existing EVGA 1200W P2 ... with 3 separate PCIe power cords ... been Very stable
indeed, my used 3.5 yr old 1000W P2 did as well
Wife's PC has this GPU and uses a 10 year old Cooler Master 1200w. (It's a beast)
