Everything fine and working for a week now, only problem I've is that the card max power consumption is 390W and GPU-Z shows perfcap power.

After still having frequent game crashes with my RTX 3080 FTW3, I finally broke down and ordered a Corsair AXI 1600.
My question is with single rail and multi rail, which setting should I use and do I have to plug things in a special way or do i even have to worry about it?
Also, is the Corsair monitoring software worth using?

I experienced weird driver crashes with multi-rail. When changed to single-rail from corsair link software, these issues have gone. Noticed also that my power did reset to multi-rail after reboot and issues came back. I dont usually shutdown my computer so I cant confirm if you have to change it after every time you shutdown computer.

3080 FTW3 Hybrid, 5800X, both stock and Seasonic TX-700 seems to be working well.
Have you had any issues yet? This is the same PSU/CPU I have, and I was concerned about how it performed with a 3080.

Corsair RM850 of 2014 with 3080 FTW3 Ultra stock, 3 SSD, 2 HD, 2x16gb 32000mhz, and 3700X at 4350mhz 1,375v. Not at problem at least for now.
Interesting, I've been using a RM1000 from 2016, and I'm going onto my 3rd 3090 this week, perhaps it isn't a PSU thing afterall? Albeit your the only person I've seen running an older gen RM series, the rest have all been newer models.

PSU: Seasonic Prime Titanium 750W (SSR-750TR) This is not the TX 750!GPU: 3080 FTW3 Ultra Last weekend my computer shut down every time I play Remnant: From the Ashes. I checked with GPU-Z and I see peaks at 387W, my CPU is an 8700K OC 4.8 GHz at 1.31V. I think the spike trips the OCP.

Power supply is older than most would recommend being that its over 10 years old now, but it never skips a beat. I am sure I will be punished for it eventually. Running an i9-9900k overclocked and a custom water loop. Zero issues so far.

I have an old EVGA G2 1000W 80+ Gold PSU that I originally suspected was the issue before going on the forums. My first FTW3 Ultra 3090 died after 6 hours at stock settings. This new one games overclocked at +135 core, +500 mem at 107% power. Has been doing so since November. Fingers crossed, but this one seems good!

Both ran perfectly with a 5900X as well.

RTX 3090 XC3 ultra OC'd
F-ton of case fans and custom water loop
Corsair 850W PSU (has worked with my 2080ti no issue and none now)
PC restarted during a benchmark, not 100% sure if it tripped, but my UPS usually reads around 700ish W during gaming so i cant say for sure, hasnt happened since.
Have an EVGA 1000w G+ and gonna throw that in since i may be getting a Kingpin soon hopefully.

3090 FE paired with Maingear Ignition 1000W works initially, haven't stress tested but benchmarks and runs games at stock settings.

Well, as I cannot really tell you which PSU works for me, I'm gonna say which one DID NOT work: Seasonic Focus+ 850w Platinum, batch from 2017. OCP is being triggered even when im just simply playing a game at stock settings, not even talking about heavy benchmarks and the first time I powered up the rig I've got an "AO" QCode on mobo and stuck in white gpu led + black screen. Seasonic is supposed to replace my unit soon wether a Focus PX 850w or Focus GX1000W...I think I am going for the 1000w one. My system specs are: M10Apex 8086k @ 5.2ghz 1.392v prime95/cb EVGA 3080 FTW3 Ultra 2x8 Trident Z RGB 4266 1.4v IO: 1.21v SA: 1.22v 1 HDD: 7200 1 Samsung 960 evo 1 Samsung 860 evo 6x Industrial IPPC fans 1 EK-MLC Phoenix cooling the cpu This thread was extremely useful for me, thanks.

No issues yet (knock on wood) got the card in early December black lips 2014 serial
3090 ftw3 ultra +190 on core and +650 on mem, on air still waiting for my waterblock

Evga G5 Supernova 1000w psu / 3090 ftw3 ultra hybridized. 3090 Pulls 480w regularly. 9900k oc’d 4.9 GHz all core @ 1.27 V . Ram xmp 3600 MHz 1.35 V. Zero issues.

My new build evga z490 dark kingpin MB 3900 kingpin video card 2 wd 512 black m2 drives in raid and a EVGA 1000 watt titanium PS a 1085 I9 with an evga 3 fan water cooler for that CPU and 4800 16 gb gell royal memory. I finally getting the final part friday

No issues thus far that weren't directly attributable to drivers or the game itself
Card does consistently run hotter than most others I have seen here. 85c in game with side of case off and desk fan blowing directly into card intake.
Total system power including monitor is about 600w according to UPS in RDRII
Before anyone chastises me for being so close to nvidia and evga's power supply requirement. Yes, I know according to the advice of a few on this forum, I should be running dual 1600w Platinum certified PSUs on separate circuits with whole room UPS units dedicated to each circuit. More if I ever plan to overclock /s.

3090 FTW3 Ultra
Previously had an old batch Seasonic Titanium 850Watt. Had lots of shutting down problem playing Metro Exodus. So I got a RMA from Seasonic. I thought everything was fine until about recently. This new TX-850 would random shutoff during gaming again. I will probably need to contact Seasonic again. This is not normal. I have no overclocking at all
Not sure if I should just give this PSU up
