Oh, sorry, where is the "Report Trolling" button? In my opinion, trolling is spam. Edit: instead or replying to Delirious below, and carrying this on needlessly, I will pre-reply: EVGA TOS defines spam as: "Spam - Spamming is the repeated posting of messages that are advertisements, abusive, or otherwise unwanted on internet forums." I would consider trolling abusive or unwanted content on a forum. I think the two overlap. And why do I say they are trolling? They are directly mocking what crap said "A++++" and posting for no reason other than to cause an argument. Otherwise, this thread is dead and useless.

This thread is 100% useless garbage. Anecdotal evidence by random users does not make this anymore useful than the cantankerous review section on Newegg or Amazon. People are under qualified, do no proper testing and usually just post garbage like "works for me no issues A++" that is not useful to anyone.

Not correct. The spam button you are abusing is not for posts you disagree with. It's for posts specifically intended to SPAM the forum. I have a portable system with a 3090 Kingpin Hybrid and 5600X on an EVGA 850 SFX, working brilliant. It's in a tiny case.
Main is 2 KINGPIN hydroblocks WITH 12900KS and an EVGA 1300G2. Going to end up swapping this PSU for a Silverstone Prime TX Ultra1000 and non-SLI soon.
Wife's is a KINGPIN Hydroblock with 5950X on a Corsair HX850i.
Son is currently running an 3080Ti Ultra Hydro and 5900X on a Corsair 750 SFX..... he games daily on this for the past 8 months.

Hello all,
I have a question about the 3090 Ti FTW3. So, I just bought one and I am building a new computer and picked up the Corsair HX1200 Platinum PSU. I see this card comes with a cable that is needed to power the 3090 Ti but it only works with EVGA PSU's. I'm I supposed to go out and buy yet another cable from Corsair similar to the one that is shipped with the 3090 Ti in order for this to work or does that cable actually work for all PSU's? Really confused on this. Thanks!

Hello all,
I have a question about the 3090 Ti FTW3. So, I just bought one and I am building a new computer and picked up the Corsair HX1200 Platinum PSU. I see this card comes with a cable that is needed to power the 3090 Ti but it only works with EVGA PSU's. The 16-pin to three 8-pins adapter cable that is included with the card will work with all psu's.

I'm running a 3080 ftw3 12gb for the moment on an evga g3 650w gold and it's doing just fine, mind you it's paired with an i7 4790k for now and driver installation is goofy, though I'm not sure why - I don't buy that it's the psu.

So wait....if I had a 2060 TI installed in the system with all the same components and it worked fine for 2 years with the 1600 SN G2 it forms a baseline. I replaced the 2060 TI with a 3080 TI and only than started having the problems with the video card shutting off under heavy load, while the rest of the system continues to run. Reinstalled the 2060 TI and runs just fine under load. Than just to prove the point I installed a new 3090 with the same behavior occurring. Doesn't that seem suspect to you?

Contact EVGA and have them replace your defective power supply. There is no model of power supply that will make the card work or not work. Cards and power supplies fail due to defects or age. There is no magical list.
