Been quite awhile for me to own an Evga gpu , but need to know abit more detail/confirmation/clarification about the current warranties (yes , I read evga web page) .

If Iam buying a "brand new sealed , unregistered" 1080 Ti from a third party (such as a tech site forum member , etc) and I purchase this new gpu and I register it in my name ,  does the Evga 3yr warranty still apply , and/or will I also need a receipt from said seller (incase of any possible needed future rma service , etc) .

Sorry for any possible re-asked many time questions here , but again its been awhile for an Evga gpu on my end and Iam just covering my bases on a $700-800 purchase .

Thx for any info and help  ; stereo55

Stereo, the standard 3 year warranty will apply on the -kr model gpu. The shipping date from EVGA will be when the warranty starts. You will need to use the guest register to verify warranty remaining.

    https://www.evga.com/support/guestregister.asp

The condition means fairly minimal when it comes to third party purchase, as long as the gpu isn't physically damaged.

If you are purchasing from a third party, all warranty claims will go through the guest rma page.

Thanks for the help , so basicly Iam warranty covered (after I register it), and coverage started whenever Evga shipped out the product to whomever (retailer) ; and also still covered with no current purchase receipt (guest rma page with serial #, if rma needed ).

    Thats it correct ?

    Thx  gents . ;)

This is correct; any card not purchased from an authorized retailer will have a 3 year global warranty that starts when the card was shipped from our facility. Using the Guest RMA page, we will not need an invoice or receipt for the purchase, as we do use the shipping date to verify.
