yeah i don't think they can pull it off. I haven't seen the avengers yet but everything up to it was well executed. Making everything in the same universe, keeping the same actors, mostly, also how they changed and updated things for the silver screen. They left out some of the cheesyness that usually transfers over from the comic books. I think the main thing I was excitied about was how iron man was going to interact with everyone else, one liners and all.
The one problem i see is batman, it would be near impossible to have another actor play batman anytime soon. Bale's verison is great. you;d have to let those movies get old for like 10 years before trying to redo them. That being said i think it's possible to have it exist within the current batman universe. It would have to be gritty and a re-image of the justice league as a whole.

Ive waited for The Flash or Justice League for many yrs. Now, that Avengers did well, WB wants a cut. WB current top board members dont give a crap about about a good story, just money. WB already craped Smallville, Superman, GL.

The flash TV series from years back was done reasonably well. I don't see how that they couldn't pull off something of similar quality in a big budget movie production. Although i agree that the folks at the helm currently have been screwing the pooch lately.

not to mention if your gonna have the justice league you need their counterpart
itll just feel wrong going straight into a JL movie

I tend to disagree with this. I am NOT a fan of the Christian Bale version of Batman. He rasps too much. As yet, there have been no actors who played Batman that I think did the role justice. Too bad in a way. Maybe it is just too big a role for anyone. That being said, does anyone have a suggestion for a Batman that would probably fit the role well?

Let Chris Nolan make Superman, Let him also make a flash and a proper green lantern then let him make the Justice League a dark gritty hero super team. Then there we go. I agree with the assessment on Mr. Bale. His Bruce Wayne is fine. But sweet mary and joseph his batman voice is horrible. Depending on how old/fat the actor from the TV series of batman is, maybe he could play the role?

They would have to start over, in the Green Lantern movie Superman doesn't exist. He said "until a few days ago, we thought we were the only ones in the universe". If superman existed in that movie, he wouldn't have said that.

Put aside the current Batman trilogy and there really isn't much that has been a hit for any DC hero. When Disney bought out Marvel I really felt that was the end however I was wrong. We just saw the Avengers again today and it is amazing how well thought out these movies have been since the first Iron Man came out. DC would have to start from scratch with new exciting stories and fresh young actors that would keep a series of movies alive. And someone mentioned gritty before. Very necessary indeed as shown by the success of Batman and the flop of Green Lantern

Are you talking about Adam West??? From the original Batman? He voices himself as Mayor West in Family Guy and if you havent seen a recent picture....well let's just say he would be more cut out to be his butler(Which would be cool, kinda like stan lee in all of his movies or Burt Reynolds in the new Longest Yard).

I don't think it will do very good if it actually ever gets off the ground. I think a Justice League movie being made will depend on how well The Dark Knight Rises and the next Superman movie does at the box office. If one or both of those movies are disappointing I don't think WB will take the risk with Justice League. Part of the reason Avengers has done so well is because they have been teasing us with it for years.

It's not the Green lantern that we know for the most part. Its the Original Green lantern Alan scott before the GL core really existed and hes also in a alternate universe so for the most part the mainstream GL isn't gay
