I'm trying to get some individually sleeved cables and I found some that I like. They're the Cablemod red/black ones plus they come with the little clear combs. Here is my dilemma though.
I emailed them on 8/9/15 asking them for an ETA as performance-pcs was out of stock and they're the only listed NA dealer. I received an email back saying that they'd be getting stock within the next two weeks. I then replied back asking if I could purchase directly from them. The guy replied back they respect their channel partner and they offer great service.
Now fast forward to 8/20/15. I emailed the guy again saying it's coming on two weeks and I'd like to purchase them so I wanted to get an update. The guy tells me that they should have the stock by Friday or Monday.
Now it's 8/24/15 and they still don't have the damn cables. It's actually quite annoying that you're dealing directly with the distributor and they tell you the dates and clearly either they're just pushing them back or I don't know. Maybe he doesn't actually have a clue about it.
So I sent an email telling him that they clearly need to do something or add another NA dealer. Because at this rate I'm going to write off Cablemod and I'll never deal with them or performance-pcs ever again. This is my first experience and it will be the last if somebody doesn't get their answers correct. Both sources said Friday/Monday and both were clearly wrong. It's just annoying.
