I have been vaping for over 2.5 years now, and quit cigs for good. Started with ones that looked like cigs, moved to basic tanks with click batteries. Got a 20w box mod with some of the newer tanks as the industry advanced. Moved to mech mods and RDA units, learning to build coils and alot about power, volts, and ohms. Now I run a 100w box mod and either a sub ohm tank or an RDA. Lots of people at my work have switched to vaping as well.  Couple years ago you had to order just about everything online.  Now we have 5 shops within a 30 mile area.
 
and yea sneezing has many health risks too, just like drinking caffeine, just like consuming energy drinks as part of a your daily routine...which I know alot of people here drink every single day. Those things are horrible for your teeth btw, whens the last time you had concern for them?  most of the people who make the "vaping prally isnt safe, or prally isnt a safer alternative...are generally the ones that know absolutely nothing about it.  Meanwhile you have plenty of people that have been doing it for half a decade now, have witnessed their blood pressure and heart rate drop, live more active lifestyles and in general feel alot more healthier.  and yea theres plenty of professionals that vape, vaping is alot more professional than every part of you stinking of cigarettes. 
 
I would be happy to help anyone trying to quit cigs that are looking for ideas on what to get or how to get into vaping.  Just realize there are companies already in the USA that are making their e- liquid to FDA standards in preparation for them having to pass FDA standards.  There are also gas stations selling e-liquid that you have no idea whats in it or where it even came from.  Be smart and be safe.  

Tried it to try to quit smoking, just using the patch... works a lot better.

I've been vaping on and off, This time for a month and some. I know there are risks and who knows what they are at this point. What I do know is there are not thousands of chemicals like a regular cigarette. I don't feel heavy and out of breath all of the time and all around feel better. I will take my chances because one thing I do know is it can't be nearly as bad if my health has improved. 
Obviously it would be better to just quit but it isn't as easy as telling myself I'm done. I was at a pack or more a day and I can also see the difference in my bank account. One thing is I enjoy it, The same as someone enjoys a coffee or a beer or anything else that isn't good for you. Did I trade one habit for another? I did. I did it because I am not ready to quit but I don't want to die or suffer the side effects I was dealing with from smoking. I have children I want to be around for and do eventually want to quit fully so this will do for now. Some guys at work have picked it up for a couple months and have quit all together now and some like me use it as a healthier alternative.
 
I started off with the cheap ego type e-cigs and they did nothing for me, I just ended up using both. Then I tried a slightly better one and went for 3 weeks before bad times hit and I just went back.
It just wasn't enough...lol This time I ended up getting a 50w Istick and a Kangerteck nano and I don't even think about smoking anymore. The startup costs a little but after a week and a half with cigarette prices and not buying them it paid for it. Now I am just saving. With the e-juice and coils my costs are about $40 a month vs $390 a month and I can cut that down even further if I rebuilt my coils and either shopped around for bulk e-juice deals or made my own. Research where your stuff comes from, Be smart and you can reduce your risks, Use it as intended and the risks are even lower.
 
To be honest I don't care what people think about me if they see my puff on it, Most are just curious. I still treat it like a cigarette and respect people's right to not breath in my choices. Everyone is different. I've seen people that quit after 30 years smoking cold turkey and I've seen people quit using an e-cig, At the end of the day I won't judge how they quit. The fact is the end result was the same and they got away from the death sticks.

I just think something... this is big hit on tabacco industry. They had competition in past and they afraid from different products for stop smoking but this now is biggest hit on them after they start mass production. Not even prohibition from public places and restaurants is not so big hit on their profit. Big percent of people completely stop to consume cigarettes. Who found this type of smoking replacement?
Really and look somehow futuristic for new generations. 
Marlboro need to wait time machine to be found to send assassins to kill man who got idea for e-cigarettes. 
Now people need to read all news with some kind of reserve... You never know what is sponsored by tabacco industry or some kind of advocacy groups who have duty to protect society of everything what could be damaged for young generation. And they sometimes exaggerate and react very conservative. 
More and more young people walk on streets with lanyard around neck with e-cigs.

when you vape, you consume an unknown fluid that is made somewhere in china. this means, most likely, 0 control, it is a health hazard.

Ingredients in e-juice I use are from USA or EU.
At the moment I used Made in USA. We have official distributor for Halo e-juice.
That store sell only their e-juices. They are well packed in glass bottles not in plastic.
But I think this is most expensive e-juice. You can buy 60-70-80ml of Chinas for 30ml of this.

I used Ego One, it's nice to rebuild and I still keep them because I have only Kayfun V3 Mini tank and than don't want to change coil 2 times daily. Because you need to use at least 2 different taste to feel them better daily.
And Kayfun V3 Mini cost 100 euro. But they are best, easy to rebuild, last long, spend much less e-juice than most tanks, it's easy to wash, threads are precise and inderstructable. 
 
This brand produce and with Vegetable Glycerin as ingredient and that's better for most people than Propylene Glycol.
Except them one company from Italy Flavor Arts is available in our country. Others are most from China.
 
This is excellent for quite smoking tabacco.
Because very soon when brain used to nicotine dose enter in body together with nice flavor from that moment taste of tabacco become disgusting. For smoker is nice because brain know that on that way will get nicotine dose, but if he learn for different way with better taste smoking become bad. I don't hate smoke from cigars but I could not finish cigare because it's very bad taste now after you used on vaping.
Best option is to drop on 6mg or 3mg. Some companies not produce so low with 3mg but you can't make if you mix bottle with 0mg and 6mg.

+Hoggle Ill tell you right now that he had to have had a mechanical device , which has no safety features like most mods out there, and you shouldnt use a mechanical if youre a novice. Its like saying you saw your friend crash his car so cars are bad and at fault . Well he should have learned to drive before hopping in ,not the cars fault.

I agree, vaping is way better for you than smoking.

I have never smoked real cigarettes, I sometimes smoke electronic sirage. I think this is quite normal

I didn't recommend completely Direct to Lung tanks only models capable to be used for both purpose with priority for taste and flavor not vapor quantity. This expensive stuff are ultra quality equipement made from best materials and best types of SS with very price and indestructable threads and screws and off course ultra quality battery. Inside go 18650 or smaller batteries.

If you buy these expensive stuff do that on site of manufacturer or their distributors authorised and recommended on manufacturer's site.
All of them have own serial number and you can verify is it authentic. These expensive stuff make very limited number weekly and they are very often out of stock.

IMOO, Your better off smoking natural stuff, at least you know what the hell ur putting inside ur own body...

I have vaped since the trend began and perhaps a bit before and also made my own ejuice for the last 4 years or so. I began making my juice because of not really knowing what was in the regular line up at stores etc... I use only fda approved flavors as well as kosher grade pg/vg liquid. By using top quality products in my juice I feel it is a bit safer in general terms. Nicotine can be added or left out unlike alcohol (unless we are talking about alcohol free beer etc).. Unless you are growing your tobacco and not using pesticides etc (good luck bugs love tobacco leaves) then you are not smoking natural anything anyway... You also are not burning and inhaling paper (mostly bleached on cigs).

I started about a year ago because I wanted to quit smoking cigs and it was too damn cold in Greenland to smoke outside. Overall I feel a lot better. I work out a lot and I've noticed I don't have to stop and catch my breath anymore. Not to mention my clothes, car etc. don't smell like butt.
 
I don't get why everyone hates on people who vape. I don't see how it's affecting their lives in the slightest.
 
I use a Smok G-Priv (red) with a Uwell Crown 3 tank (red tip). I don't think I'll ever switch from the Uwell tanks!
