Once the pandemic dies down what are everyone's vacation plans? For me I'm looking forward to the US West Coast in 2022. Would like to do Japan but they seem to be responding really badly to the vaccine roll out so I'll probably have to wait a bit longer before I'm assured the area is reasonably safe

I was supposed to go to Puerto Vallarta this July but it's most likely going to be called off since external factors other than covid prevented me from pulling the trigger on the flights.
However I have already been able to do a fair amount of domestic travelling thanks to my early adoption of the COVID vaccine. However going forwards I am looking forwards to a pretty likely group travel to NYC and hopefully another East Coast or even international destination. That and hunting for schools on the east and in Canada.
The sky is my only limit!

I live in a small town in flyover country where things never really changed. Already went camping and plan to go camping again probably in August.

Most likely no vacation this year. 2022 is a more realistic target. We will probably travel within Belgium.

We will probably travel within Belgium.
My wife and I lived in Brussels 95-97 and we would have taken another assignment there in a minute. We really liked the city and surrounding area.

Once the pandemic dies down and I've settled into the place I will be moving to I'd quite like to go back to my hometown. I've not been back since I left in 2012. I'd like to go to the places I enjoyed as a kid. Go be in nature, enjoy the ocean, the woods, eat some really nice food. Spend some time people watching. Simple chill stuff. Feel like I'm a teen on summer break again, basically.

when this all settles down we would probably continue traveling through Europe. We got a taste of it before Covid and loved it so much.
