Same, Mine shipped 11/2 still have not arrived.

Is this possible to have this issue because of a bios change ?

Good afternoon. Left the request at you on the website two weeks ago: Thermal Pads on the video card. You still didn't send them. Already very much I regret for this purchase, all following video cards will be from other vendors. I will give your video card on a warranty to shop.

I'm not able to post reference to the post already made, thus I have to duplicate it here.
 
"Recenently received EVGA 1070 FTW.
Graphic card performs well, but I noticed a tiny GAP between memory chips (VRAM) and thermpal pads (TP), between voltage regulator module (VRM) and thermal pads.
Unmounted front plate, and saw the next (picture attached).
 
The stock TPs on VRAM and VRM are 1.5 mm width. But I think, either stock TP are a little bit less than 1.5 mm, or 2 mm thermal pads are needed.
 
Now I installed Arctic TPs, which have 6W/mK thermal conductivity and 1.5 mm width (the "same" width as stock). But unlike stock TPs, Arctic's have contact with VRAM and VRM (but preassure is too little in my opinion).
 
So, I think of installing 2 mm width TP instead of 1.5 mm. Otherwise, heat dissipation will be be not enough. 
 
Now I'm using my 1070 FTW with unmounted backplate (because it's not contacting PCB with the help of TP by default and worsens heat dissipation from PCB provided by air). And mounted additional 120 mm fan in the back area of PCB where VRM is located.
With Artctic pads applied and additonal fan mounted, I have only 65C PCB temperature under 3D benchmarks (Unigine, 3DMark), which is OK.
 
I'm not using OCCT, Kombuster, Furmark for stress tests and won't use until I receive thermal pads mod kit from EVGA.
 
And I recommend other users of FTW to perform quick inspections of thermal pads applied on your graphics cards before launching heavy stress tests under overclock and within badly ventilated PC cases.

In other words. The patches didn´t even got shipped yet.
So, the waiting goes on .... for some time.

I've recieved this e-mail 15 days ago, and...nothing more. And as I explained in a previous post in this forum, the ThermalMod site says that my card (a GXT 1060 FTW+) is not a qualified product - even being listed as is when I've made the request.

And no answer at all from EVGA from my previous post. There is someone form EVGA looking this thread or we're just being treated as fools?

When i said why is taking so long to ship thermal pads the answered was " every day we ship thermal pads" after that i saw the next information, "Request Shipped 11/09/2016 (Please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery)." so i decided wait 2 weeks to recibe thermalpads but now I wait 3 weeks and nothing happend, i saw post they say i wait 5 weeks to recibed termalpads.

Can you share with us traking number? or be honest and say its better every customer buy thermalpad in amazon ebay etc.

why don't EVGA gives out free games for those applying thermal pad by themselves?

I'll see if i can install them next weekend.

So while I am a very patient person, seeing them get shipped after mine shipped (11/02/2016) and then getting there sooner is kind of annoying. Even more so when you consider I am in Canada and I have gotten many things shipped from the US in just a day or two. Heck my two powerlinks only took a week.

I have a email "EVGA Thermal Pad Mod Request" I received this email 10/29/16, but in EVGA Request Shipped 11/09/2016 (Please allow 1-2 weeks For delivery).
 
Since I made the thermal pad request a month passed. A MONTH.
 
But anyway the next time i buy graphic card, i will never think in EVGA.
 

So where is the original BIOS
 
I have installed the Thermal Pad MOD and the fan noise needs to go
 
I would rather put the original BIOS back on than get a custom FAN Profile but cannot find it for the life of me

This being a EVGA forum and all I'm hoping the Brand is pretty clear
I only want the 1080SC version but thought there would be a page like the Thermal Mod page that had all versions

Will I get a new or refurbished one if I RMA?

Some people said they received new one but how can they be so sure?

I believe EVGA returns you a brand new, never used card if your card at point of RMA is max 30 days old.
The refurbished card is shipped to you in a more brown-ish package than the black standard one if new card.

i ordered a 1080 ftw from amazon when they came back in stock on november 30th. just came today and i can report its from the new batch. already has the thermal mod and vbios. i checked by looking up its serial number on evga thermal mod request page before i even took it out of the box lol.
