I am experiencing driver crashes in Unreal Engine games (Sea of Thieves) and Boundary:Benchmark (RTX benchmark on Steam).
The crashes are very random, but if left in demonstration mode, the Boundary benchmark will eventually experience a driver crash.
This first occurred with my 3080 FTW3 Ultra. I reinstalled drivers (clean) and performed a regedit that increases the timeout before the crash would take place. This seemed to help but did not eliminate the crash.
I installed a new 3080TI FTW3 ULTRA using DDU, normal mode, clean, reboot, clean, reboot, install drivers.
Once again, I am seeing 3D driver crashes.
System Info:
Windows 10 all updates
Ryzen 5600X
32 gig 3600 ram
Asus B550-F (latest bios)
EVGA 850w Gold PSU (Graphic card using 3 individual VGA power connecters to PSU)
EVGA 3080 FTW3 ULTRA (472.12 drivers)
EVGA 3080TI FTW3 ULTRA (472.12 drivers)
I suppose my next step would be using DDU in safe mode.
Has anyone else experienced 3D driver crashes while running Unreal Engine games/benchmarks?
