My 22.02.2021 date looks better than I thought. Looks like 1-2 months of waiting.

I'd email support and ask if they needed any additional info to advance you to step 3.
Include your StepUp ID and new product code like it's shown at the bottom of step 2.
Make sure your given shipping address still is correct.
Odds are though you're getting your step 3 before they get to work through the support emails. 😂

I read up to 5 working days is the normal expectation, so I'll wait another day or so and then pop off a message. It's another Amazon order so hopefully no issues like that poster a few pages ago. Direct from Amazon so no marketplace seller issues.

I even had an RMA carried out whilst waiting on this step up lol. It's possible that is holding things up a bit. The serial number of the card I'll be sending in has obviously changed now with the RMA. Support advised me during the RMA process that wouldn't be an issue.

Oh I went with what the email told me.
"EVGA will review your Step-Up request within 1-2 business days once your invoice is uploaded."

Everything was on there? VAT % and amount and all that?

IIRC during a RMA the new card gets automatically registered in your account and the old one removed.
I've only had one regular RMA and don't remember if my old card just vanished or whether I removed it manually.
Now with the step up the 3080 is in there but the 2070S is as well, or at least was a few days ago.

Gah UPS hurry up! The package's been sitting in a city nearby since Friday evening. Tracker has only changed once today,
moving the delivery window starting from 10:45 to now saying 13:15, but it's still not saying out for delivery.

I found a CS post on the forum saying give up to 5 working days, so didn't want to add to CS ticket log until that passes.

My price is already listed as invoice is already uploaded, just waiting approval.

And yeah the RMA card is listed under My Products, but the original step up queue is still associated with the original card.

Oh looks like the UPS tracker messed up. Card just arrived, hadn't been marked as in delivery before.

Quickly unpacked, everything sealed, foil everywhere, black lipped but it's a Rev 0.1 instead of 1.0? O.o
The 3080 had a Rev 1.0 right? Or was that just the 3090?

Gonna give it a bit to defrost and will then put it in. That really is a thicc boi, feels more massive than the 2070S.

That's me on step 3, so it can just take a few days :) Just have to wait on a proforma invoice from a CS request ticket.

Then the fun part, sorting out shipping in the UK lol. Going to use UPS again.

Nice, finally! Don't forget to to put a stack of invoice hardcopies into the package for that customs wallpaper kink.

So far so good. Tad more than 2h uptime, ran a quick StaxRIP for nVenc and then played Forza 5 for a while.
And I need a new card. Set to ultra at 1836p it can't do 120 FPS. Pfft. Hovers in the 90's most of the time.
Temp-wise it's pretty much like the 2070S, seen a 70 here and there, but it's mostly been below at 22.5C ambient.
For a bit it felt like my CPU got a bit more toasty though, seems like the card's pushing out considerably more heat.
Noise levels are roughly the same as the 2070S, possibly more quiet, with fans running in the 1400 range.
Fan stop appears to switch off after roughly 62C. I didn't hear the grindy noise the old card made. Phew.
Power management appears to be a lot better than the previous cards. I haven't turned nVidia Inspector on just
yet and the card keeps powering down. That is a VERY welcome change. My 1080 had some crying uncle moments
after I added a third screen. 🙈 And finally my 48C1 displays at 120Hz and 10bit.

For now I'll have to live with the unicorn puke. I'm too afraid to install the EVGA software, even more afraid than
updating a Lenovo BIOS.

What's a bit puzzling to me is the voltage. I thought it was supposed to be hard capped at 1.050V but goes up to
1.081V, dropping to 1.075V under high loads. Or was the 1.050V a 3090 thing? I remember the cards dying and
a thread analyzing things.

Oh and apparently it's not thicker than the 2070S. I didn't move my LianLi anti sag.
For some reason it only has a two slot IO and not the three slot version the 2070S had. Made me dig up a slot cover. 🙄

First impression, it was definitely worth the wait. I'll likely try Huh Dead (Elden Ring) tomorrow and see how that goes.

Yeah I've experienced it before with my RMA, UPS were thankfully great for getting it into Germany. Only issue I had was customs VAT charges on the way back. Reason given was this

EVGA haven't changed their process for goods sent to the UK as far as I'm aware, so I guess it's paying it again and then chasing a refund.

The folks who voted for Brexit in the UK are to blame for this though, not EVGA. Although, if the Border Force is correct above it does remain to be seen if EVGA can sort something out at their end to stop these VAT charges on RMAs coming into the UK.

You can use openrgb or use precision once and dump it, my card keeps the settings for the lightbar.

Thanks! I'll try that soon. I don't normally have any RGB. Used iCue to turn it off on my Dominators before
switching to Ballistix non RGB. I don't remember how I set it for my 1080 back then, it's been too long.
Otherwise keyboard was a setup once through Ducky software and be done with it and Logitech, I need their
software for mouse profiles anyway. Looks like OpenRGB is the same deal as Ducky. Run once and that's it,
looks even like it's a standalone and not an installer.

I'm glad to see the steps keep coming in. At this pace the queue should be finished off rather quickly :D

I use my rgb to see temps. Not necessary but semi functional. Red means my card is having difficulties 😅 never been red. It’s actually an animation with the main color tells me temps about cpu and gpu.

Oh neat :D I find those corner of my eyes things distracting and rather have something static. For values and all that
I have AIDA64 running a remote sensor setup displaying in a browser on an old iPad3. Battery's shot after all those years,
CPU power makes it almost unusable but it can still update that site in a browser. :D

Still waiting on a proforma invoice, I think I'll chase EVGA up today. Last time I needed one for an RMA it came in very quickly.

Queue already in December must mean things are moving really quickly or at this point in 2020 GPU new stock was drying up so hardly anyone entering the queue.

Prices were already geting fubared at this point - I bet a few people decided to go for a 3090 over a 3080 around this date too

In any case, nice to see the queue moving. I might get my card before 2023 is over!

kneusteunYou can use openrgb

Thanks again. Just tried it and it was as straightforward as can be, scanned the system, let me pick "Direct" and a blue,
apply to device and I'll find out soon whether it stuck or not. After closing the program the chosen colour remained.

AudioboxerStill waiting on a proforma invoice, I think I'll chase EVGA up today.

When just googling it it sounded like you have to request such proforma invoice. Should happen quickly then, I suppose.

At the rate this is going we should be done before Summer this year. The list is really empty compared to 09/2020.

I am still amazed over the power management using three screens. The card keeps clocking down to 210MHz and 810MHz on the RAM,
until something uses HWacceleration, then it spikes and goes back down. I've been using nVInspector for years now because until Ampere
this has been so beyond bugged in any Windows version.

Card getting picked up today by UPS and yet again they're saying they should have it in Germany by tomorrow lol.

Just under £20 for shipping. So again, I recommend UPS if you're in the UK.

Let´s hope UPS can deliver it in Germany within one day

MadJuxCan you post your list here? Would be nice to take a look and to keep track.

Sure. Audioboxer is the last known. There were Cafeine (rejected?), jazst, Bootywizard and Warazul before him,
but at this point it's safe to assume whoever now did not post either left the program or has been serviced.
People tend to become more vocal when something's wrong.
There are huuuge gaps and I have no idea if they stopped signing up or just haven't posted, but as is that list
looks very promising.

Package cleared German import customs so UPS and proforma invoice with no issues. Should be with EVGA later today.

So that's picked up from my house at 2pm yesterday in the UK and with EVGA in Germany today.

Sadly seemed to have gotten stuck here and doubt delivery today now. Thanks to the weekend I doubt I'll get the 3080 till the end of next week or maybe even start of the following.

DELIVERED
14/03/2022 10:34
GRAEFELFING, DE

My journey is almost at an end! Now just crossing my fingers I don't get the VAT charges at the UK end lol.

I did message UPS to ask about delivery on Friday and they said it was a short customs delay and that's outwith their control. Which is fair enough, they have technically delivered 1 business day delivery now.
