Only 50 on the memory?  Intersting....and you have a Titan X Pascal, not the Xp, right?

Just got my 1080 Ti SC Hybrid. Max I could get on core is +50 @ 2Ghz, +750 memory @ 12.5 Ghz. Memory is not max but I ran out of time and stopped here. Will do some more paying later :)

There's no point jacking the memory up that high, it only leads to inaccuracies and frame pacing issues.

Yeah I've read that overclocking the memory cam have issues so was a little cautious in doing it but I've not witnessed any adverse affects. No pacing, stuttering or observed pixelation and with each slight increment in speed only boosted the result across several different benchmarks, synthetic and in-game.

I've also had several hours of gaming on that speed now without issue. tbh I would prefer my core clock to be higher over any achievable memory overclock but anything over 2000 is instant freeze, even with increasing the voltage slightly.

EVGA 1080 TI Founders Edition and Hybrid Kit, +200 GPU and +500 Mem (no over voltage). Performs admirably considering my I5 4690k @ 4.6ghz.

1080p High - Score 16828 - http://imgur.com/nkzKcTd

1080p Extreme - Score 6326 - http://imgur.com/GcEOzen

4k Optimized - Score 10110 - http://imgur.com/r3FNUG8

However, I have settled on +170 GPU and +275 Mem at the moment (this could go lower depending on reliability) for all around stability, tested in games such as GTA 5, Metro Last Light with temps between 40-48c

4K = 9511 (x58 and a I7 920 1080Ti SC2)

Thats as far as I can get with Precision, I am tired of having to reinstall it and there is some kind of bug that is really getting in my way of higher clocks....
Once the bug is triggered, fps and scores go down even if values are reset to defaults.. only reinstalling will return default scores to normal.
*anybody got a link to the latest Afterburner Beta with ICX? (i have 4.4.0 Beta 6)

His GPU has  a higher core count. So, you're not likely to breach that gap.

Cuda cores?  I am pretty sure the Titan X and 1080Ti have the same one, only the Titan Xp has more.

I have one more question for you, what voltage are you running your CPU at to keep a stable 4.5 Ghz, and also, is it running at that speed 24/7 or only when under load?  In other words, if you go to Task Manager and check under performance, is your CPU always at 4.5?  What temps are you getting at idle, during games, and under 100% load?

Thanks!

Sorry yes not Cuda cores... Nvida and their naming scheme... His GPU more has ROPs. That is the difference clock for clock he has slightly higher performance. I run 4.5ghz @ 1.355 adaptive with no offset. All other BIOS voltages are at default, memory is XMP default at 3200mhz. At idle I'm at 1200mhz 0.755v. intel Burn Test with no AVX offset peaks at 80C running the very high preset. That is by far a worst case scenario. Games I rarely get over 50C.

This board and it's.. broken features... Why do I need to upload to a third party to simply add an image to a post consistently?

Thanks for the feedback gentlemen!

My room is rather hot, about 80F, my CPU package is usually at 43C at idle.... yeah, I know....  Most of the cores are in the mid 30s though.  I use a H115i with 4 fans running at 780 rpm.  I am currently using 1.325 V at 4.3.  I was trying to run at 1.35 at 4.4, but Timespy crashed with those settings, as in, solid freeze followed by a blue screen.  I am using a Samsung Power Profile enabled in Power Options in control panel which keeps this thing on a steady diet of the manually set, non adaptive 1.325 V.  Not sure if I should try adaptive or not.

You should be using adaptive when overclocking your CPU it will allow your CPU to down clock when the load decreases. Your temps will also decrease. If you are overclocking cashe you will have to use offset voltage for this and overclocking cashe will also increase temps. With lock ups and recovery blue screens you usually need more voltage. Try setting your OC down to 4.2 and see if this helps. If it boots and runs a stress test ok than you need more core voltage for the higher 4.3 clock. Also what is your max temperature? You could be locking up due to high temps.
