Hi I'm Shykal or Shy.
I'm Madrias' significant other, He's also my 'go to' person when I'm having a problem with my computer or I have a question and need help, and thanks to him I'm not as computer illiterate anymore.
I'm a part time cleaner.
I'm also an artist, I paint and draw.
I game a little, though have a brother that's trying to get me to game more, but when he's sitting behind me and saying things like "You go 'around' the wall Shy, not through it." or "You're in the bush again." and laughing at my lack of coordination at that moment I wonder why he bothers. It's not that I'm not coordinated I'm just bad if I don't have a game controller in hand. Sit me in front of a PS2 or PS3 and put in a Need for Speed game and I can kick some butt, to the point my brother quit playing NFS with me.

Thanks Sleinous. Unfortunately not, I'll know by Friday, we've cutback and budgeted a bit, if all the bills get paid there won't be anything left.

Madrias hasn't, though what have you done to him, he's so addicted I spend half my time talking to air and no not between his ears... though occasionally I wonder... moving on, I'd get Minecraft if I could, I had a look the other day it locked up my computer I got the ol' 'not responding' treatment, was my laptops favorite thing to do it's now currently my mouse pad in the relaxed set up I have.
 
Back on topic though, thanks for the welcome and I hope to still be here after friday.

I can't buy Minecraft right now, I'm playing the free version, I know likely lame to do so but it's all I can manage at the moment, Good for practice though due to my lack of coordination and remembering which key does what, I'm a goof that way.

Guess I should introduce myself. My name is Cody and I am from Saskatoon, SK, Canada. I am a currently taking my first year apprenticeship for Professional Cooking and working at a place called the "Saskatoon Club"; a premier private business club (where I work as a cook).
 
I just finished building a full murderMod TJ07 (complete with sLight, front panel, and serpentine top grill) but have pulled it apart for need of money and to start something new :)

Welcome to the forums calamity! Hmmm. First thing that comes to mind would be your PSU. What make and model is it if you dont mind telling us? Also have you overclocked any of your components at all? How many hard drives do you have? 

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you! I got really side tracked haha. What I would suggest to you is to make a new thread in the general discussion section and maybe copy and paste your info that you just told me over to there so other people can read this as well.
 
In my opinion it is most likely your power supply going bad on you! A 400 watt low end psu through a q6600 quad core low end SLI system and the other things you have IMO would probably be pushing the limit for power with 400 watts. I could be wrong though! Thats why I think you should make a new thread about it!
 
You will get a lot more people's opinions that should help you out a lot. Their are ways to test system components but I think we should get some other opinions as well before we put you through the hoop of testing stuff haha

Hey everyone I'm new to the forums, I like building pc's and gaming. I just built a new rig, EVGA ftw3 mobo w/i7 950 @ 4 Ghz, 2 EVGA 580s. I'm pretty happy with it but keep finding ways too spend more money lol.
