3080 Ti & 3070 Ti EVGA Auto Notify Information:  https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/3318858

This is just to help answer some questions that have been asked repeatedly on the forum.
Only one date is listed on purpose.  The terms Launch Day, Release Day, etc., appear to be commonly used on the forum and are used here.

NVIDIA:
NVIDIA will be making a keynote address at Computex 2021 on 31 May.  No where in their press release is there any mention of the 3080Ti.  The chatter around this is still speculation, assumption, hope, etc.  In other words, it is just RUMINT.  Those that have the real information are NDA bound.
The sequence of events is generally like this and the dates of each can be separated by days or weeks:
“Launch Day” – NVIDIA will showcase the new product, list the specifications, the MSRP (Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price), the normal advertising presentations, and the “release date.”
“Review Day(s)” – The NDAs are lifted at a specific date and time on reviewers and the reviews will hit all the usual media outlets.  This is used to keep interest in the new product high and in “normal” times might be one of the factors in a decision to purchase or not.
“Release Day” – The date that NVIDIA authorizes its affiliates to begin sale of a product.

EVGA
Auto Notify:  Once an official “release date” is given, EVGA will announce the exact date and time the auto notify for the product will be active.  It is never before the official release date.  They will announce this through social media, and you will definitely read about it on the forums.  All times are PDT/PST (just ask your phone what the time is in Brea, CA).
Elite:  On new products only, elite members have exclusive use of the auto notify for that product for the first 24 hours.  To repeat, this will not begin before the official release date.
            Elite Info:  https://www.evga.com/member/elite/

YOU
Auto Notify:  The auto notify is not a pre-order nor a purchase of any kind, you are simply getting a place in the queue for a specific SKU (product).
Auto Notify Day and Time:  You are logged in to EVGA, on the product page, finger poised over the F5 key, mouse at the ready, and waiting.  It is now down to speed and perseverance.
I’m in, now what?  If you missed it when it came up after you were successful, you can go to “My EVGA – My Notifies” and you will see your date and time which will look similar to this with part number date and time “24G-P5-3989-KR 4/15/2021 10:00:52 AM PT.”  You will also receive an email confirmation.  In this case, the queue opened at 10:00 and the queue position is 52 seconds.
How many are ahead of this position?  Think milliseconds, i.e., a heck of a lot.
When will I know that I’m getting close or how fast the queue is moving?  EVGA will not release that information for a lot of corporate reasons.  However, “enewt” (NA) and BovineGamer” (EU) have worked extremely hard to establish a tracking system that relies on member input and they update it once or twice daily https://forums.evga.com/New-EVGAcom-Notification-Checkout-Process-m3108092-p1269.aspx#3311389.  The information they provide gives a good indication of how things are progressing.  So, take your DTG information and post it on the forum above, or you can pm them if you desire.

How long will I have to wait?  This is all dependent on your position in the queue and a lot of other factors that you can not control.  If you are in the first few seconds, it could be quick.  Realistically, it may take some time, but you are in the queue and you will get your product eventually.
Why do I have to wait so long? The overwhelming demand, pandemic, and the worldwide shortage of chips for all industries.  NVIDA can only get x number of chips and allocates them to the AIBs.  Do not forget that there is binning in all this, so some chips might only be suitable for certain SKUs.
EVGA, as an AIB, can only produce and sell what they have available to them.  Besides selling direct to consumers, they also have binding contracts to provide products to resellers and to abrogate those contracts would be tantamount to committing corporate suicide.

I got “The email” what now?  After you clean up your desk from dancing on it, you have eight hours to respond to the invitation to purchase.  To complete the loop, post the invitation email DTG information for “enewt” or BovineGamer” as you did for the auto notify.
Additionally:  Congratulations!

Addendum by mech9t5:  If one misses the 8 hour window, they can reply to the email, ordernotify@evga.com within a reasonable time and explain their situation. EVGA will take care of them and issue another email/link to purchase their card of choice (the card for which they received the invitation email). The reasonable time will be under the discretion of EVGA Customer Support.

Please definitely give the data to enewt as it will be immensely helpful in figuring out how long we need to wait for the queue, especially now that there are things like the elite queue involved.

Yes when you filter the forums by 30 series the top thread should always be "New EVGA.com Notification Checkout Process". Just post there and enewt should pick it up and append it to his running document. I've attached a screenshot showing the thread, it's the top one.

Given the current situation, I would not be very picky about either lol. The correct answer is whatever you can get your hands on first.

Will we be able to queue up for multiple new cards? And also how long would I have to wait for an email if I signed up say, within the first minute of release?

You can get one of each SKU per household. So one FTW3, one FTW3 Ultra, One XC3, etc.. And no one knows but it could be a long wait regardless of where you get in on the queue if they have very little stock.

    CPU: I7 7820x @ 4.7ghz
Mobo: Gigabyte Gaming 7 Pro x299
    Mem: Corsair Vengeance LP 3000mhz
    PSU: EVGA 850 Supernova G3
    GPU: FE Nvidia RTX 3090
    Case: Corsair 5000d Airflow
CPU Cooler: EKWB AIO 360 Elite

    H. Will Elite members get a 24 hour head start to cancel an existing step up selection and create a new step up to 3080 ti?

I'm within the 90 day window to step up from the 3070 XC3, currently have a request for a 3080, but would like to change it when 3080ti is available...

NOTE: This question is about the STEP UP program and not the queue/notification system.  Thanks!

You don't have to opt out of any queue. It's 1 SKU per household, so you can stay in all the unique queues you want. When you get your turn, just don't buy one. Now if you must drop from the queue for whatever reason, I don't believe there is a way to do so. So you either pass, or buy.

P.S. if you're concerned that you won't be able to get the 3080 Ti because you're in the 3080 queue, that won't be a problem.

Yup, I joined every queue as soon as I could. I've gotten a couple notifications but still haven't bought anything because it's been for cards I didn't really want but I joined the queue just to be safe in case of a failure or something. Only about 5 hours away from my 3080 FTW3 Ultra.

I'm within the 90 day window to step up from the 3070 XC3, currently have a request for a 3080, but would like to change it when 3080ti is available...

NOTE: This question is about the STEP UP program and not the queue/notification system.  Thanks!

Any news on that? Will there also be a priority for the step up program for Elite members?

Unfortunately, as far as changing step ups the only information available is here:  https://www.evga.com/support/stepup/.  You should read the whole thing particularly "Terms and Conditions."  might want to try emailing customer service and posting the response here on the forum.

As far as this question, I do not know, but my guess would be no.

I have to agree with Flint 1760.  The 24 hr Elite Membership exclusive early access only mentions the purchase of newly released EVGA products and does not mention the step-up program.
