DotMatrixGamer for the low odds Imma receive my mail soon, how do these associate codes work?
Folks who are "elite members" ( https://www.evga.com/member/elite/) can sign up to be associates. Associates get a code that they can give out (for example, here is my Associate’s Code: VDN2319M4O569J4). Folks who use the code at checkout can get a 3% discount. Associates cannot use their own code or another associate's code -- so it is a binary choice: use somebody else's associates code or sign up to be an associate and hope that others use your code. I hope that made sense. Best of luck!

Should I be concerned that it looks like the spreadsheet has passed me without notification? IE the 3090 FTW3 Ultra Hybrid (24G-P5-3988-KR) My time stamp on it is 12/11/21 @ 09:48 but the sheet now shows skipped with a user 4 below me on the list with a later time stamp then my register having gotten his email today while my notifies still lists "No" for notifiy sent. Am I screwed? Or has this happened before?

Spreadsheets are likely wrong. They regularly contain inaccurate information. I have that card at 12/11/2020 at 5:59:52 am PT based on my daily summary. You still have a bit to wait. Best of luck!

Most likely the user ahead of you didn't use the PDT and that has caused their timestamp to show past yours. The data can be incorrect when inaccuracies are not known since the data is crowd sourced. But by no means is it a gauge of whether you got an email or not. That is all solely controlled from EVGA and in your mynotifies section. Not a single person has ever been able to validly say that they have been skipped to my knowledge so use the mynotifies section as your bible.

Does this whole system seem like BS to anyone else? Lots of the SKUs haven't had reported drops for over a month for the queue. I understand that there's a global chip shortage causing issues, but literally nothing for an entire month? Seems like EVGA is likely prioritizing sending their cards out to retailers and places other than the people waiting in the queue. They've taken so long I went out and found a Zotac 3070 somewhere even though I've been in the queue for like 5 months now (I'd still prefer the 3080 I signed up for though of course).

The "estimated time" is just there. It's based on how much movement has been reported so it's purely for fun.

The spreadsheets would be right if you reported the issues and did less negative commentary in order to promote your own solution. Just saying. Why are you here on this Spreadsheet thread again? OH right.. to promote your own stuff. Got it... SMH

I am just answering questions and trying to help when folks are confused about erroneous data on the sheets. When folks want to know why the sheets indicate they were skipped, do you suggest that community members just remain silent?

Last time I checked we were all in this together as a community. However, it doesn't seem like you're for us. So it's clear to me that you're against us. Don't get me wrong. I appreciate what you do. I realize that your way takes quite a bit of time to gather the new information. However, some of us don't have the time that you do. So if you see something, say something. Don't degrade and belittle your way into promoting your own information. Don't play innocent like that's not what you've been doing all along. Every single comment of yours here is "spreadsheets are wrong. routinely incorrect. Here's my info. Use my summary." Your motives are very clear.

I am not against you...I want folks to get cards; you want folks to get cards. I am not trying to degrade anybody, full stop. But when folks are confused as to why the sheets show that they were skipped, I am going to tell them (a) that the data in the sheets is often wrong and (b) if they provided their queue and their timestamp, where I think that queue is based on the information I have. I don't think any of that is unreasonable. Again, I do believe we are all in this together. And while I wish the sheets were more regularly cleaned up, I agree that recently you guys have done a better job cleaning up the sheets on a more frequent basis; I encourage you to keep doing that.

The idea is that this is the spreadsheets thread and you're here telling someone what they already know. The spreadsheets can often times get busted and instead of pointing them in the right direction on how to use the spreadsheets you're here to spread negativity of them. Yet everyone here in this thread has an interest in the spreadsheets (except maybe you). I just don't understand why you fail to help answer their questions about the spreadsheet, like if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all. You continually try to persuade people away from the spreadsheets. They aren't your preference we get it, but the people here have chosen to be here, so please either help them or let them be so someone who is willing to correctly inform about the spreadsheets can help them. It's confusing to someone who is here to learn about the spreadsheets to be told by someone not to use them. And you do have many helpful replies outside of the spreadsheets and are very knowledgeable so it leads me to believe you know how the spreadsheets work as well and just choose not to help educate on how they work. Your knowledge is very appreciated, we just wish you'd help educate those that are here on this thread rather than being a detractor.

I reviewed the entry that caused you to be skipped and it appeared the user filled in the date/time of the form submission and it wasn't an actual email received date/time. This has been removed. You should no longer show as skipped on the spreadsheet. Thank you for bringing this data entry to our attention, it was not easily noticeable to be incorrect. We rely on users to let us know when things don't look right. Again thank you very much for bringing this to our attention.

It would be amazing if EVGA added a feature to let users know where they are in the queue... that way we wouldn't have to do all of this guessing. It doesn't seem like it would be difficult to implement but maybe they just don't want to spend further time on it given that what we have is better than nothing.

Telling someone they are x in line isn't going to help that person get their card any quicker, in fact it could bring more resentment and hatred from users who are already impatient. But not knowing for sure if you are next brings the edge off just a little bit. looniam

I've obtained three cards so far myself. Had i stayed in more queues I could have probably obtained even more. I'm on step up for a 3060 Ti as I really want that over the 3060 (who cares about 12GB VRAM). If you pay close attention and do your homework there has been opportunities to obtain cards. Like anything in life, you get what you put into it.

Well I do care about those 12 GB of Vram . Sadly it has really tight bus so I won't be able to squeeze much out of it. I mean it is still better than 2060.

I'm on step up for a 3060 Ti as I really want that over the 3060 (who cares about 12GB VRAM). If you pay close attention and do your homework there has been opportunities to obtain cards. Like anything in life, you get what you put into it. i didn't have a clue what to do at first and i'll blame that on i wasn't looking during the last boom being happy w/980ti. i didn't get how much different things are now comparatively. so about all my efforts resulted in frustration until about mid december, siging up on the 3060ti queue, that my eyes *started* to open. so yeah, thanks for that. in the meantime, that's my story and imma gonna stick to it.
