Any chance Elite Members will get first crack at ordering a 30 series card? Probably not, but it doesn't hurt to ask, right?

I've been buying evga products for over a decade, never bothered to make an account until this month. I was still able to get elite status just by registering my 3 year old 1080ti. I can't see elite members having any sort of privilege when it comes to purchasing new cards if it's this easy to get.

A 1080 Ti nothing to scoff at. I don't see any reason why loyal people to the brand can't be rewarded as having a chance to buy the next line of their products as early adopters.

Doesn't seem to take much to attain elite member status and I've been buying EVGA gfx cards exclusively since geForce 2 was released in late 2000. I always had the latest and greatest during those years too. So please, give me first crack at a 3090 FTW3

Do you realize how stupid this post is? You talk about "fair" chance yet you want to be given an advantage over others? LOL

You have just as fair of a chance as anyone else to get a card as it is. No special privilege, no favors. You want one? You know when they will be available just like everyone else.

I don't think this is fair to newcomers and those that don't have elite status and have been evga buyers for quite some time and if they choose to, they can become an elite member which ain't that difficult.

As for being an elite member, you do get perks like discounts to a variety of products including GPUs down the road which non-elite members don't get.

Use this Associate Code at your checkouts or follow these instructions for Up to 10% OFF on all your EVGA purchases:

I was an Elite member until I had to RMA my 1080ti earlier this year. Now it looks like they took it away because it is considered an RMA GPU now? I also have an EVGA PSU that’s registered as well.

So it should be first come, first serve. But I guess it doesn’t matter anyway. At least for me. I am going to wait before I upgrade the GPU anyway in hopes of a 3080 that’s over 10gb. I think the 3090 is not a good buy for the price. We will see for sure when the benchmarks come out.

At least for me. I am going to wait before I upgrade the GPU anyway in hopes of a 3080 that’s over 10gb. I think the 3090 is not a good buy for the price. We will see for sure when the benchmarks come out.

Yeah.  This is where I am at too.  I'm just looking at the 3080 for the most part.  NDA on AIB cards doesn't lift until the 17th and I really dislike buying cards before seeing benchmarks and tests.  There's also the rumors of a 12GB 3090 and a 20GB 3080 which may or may not end up true.  But if I wait for maybe the second wave I might have my new CPU by time I order it too.  Only thing is since we know the date and time of the initial launch, I feel like it is my best chance at getting a card.  Little under 2 weeks to decide.

The first product I registered on my evga account was an 8000 series card.  I probably had some evga products prior to that.  Then I had 3 9800 GTX cards because I was using 3 systems.  Over the years a bunch more cards.

I have no idea what my "status" is and don't honestly care.  Cards come in they should just be for sale to whomever is lucky enough to grab one.  If I can get one cool... if not I'll just wait.

I've been buying evga products for over a decade, never bothered to make an account until this month. I was still able to get elite status just by registering my 3 year old 1080ti. I can't see elite members having any sort of privilege when it comes to purchasing new cards if it's this easy to get.

    Thank you!
I don't understand why some people act like this is something they should be rewarded for...

A 1080 Ti nothing to scoff at. I don't see any reason why loyal people to the brand can't be rewarded as having a chance to buy the next line of their products as early adopters.

Because most of us are loyal.
Then it becomes a "but I'm loyal than this person".
And then it's "why wasn't I considered loyal enough?".
    And... it's honestly stupid...
You could buy an old ass EVGA GPU off eBay and register it and be "elite".

I've bought more than my fair share of EVGA GPUs. Heck, all the GPUs I've ever put in computers I built for myself were EVGAs.

That doesn't give me the right to ask for preferential treatment.

For people who are clearly EVGA fans, you sure don't sound like you want a fair chance at buying the next thing. The only stupid idea is the one not brought to the table. Thanks for the negativity.

Do you realize how stupid this post is? You talk about "fair" chance yet you want to be given an advantage over others? LOL

You have just as fair of a chance as anyone else to get a card as it is. No special privilege, no favors. You want one? You know when they will be available just like everyone else.

No, you're right. God forbid EVGA caters to their fans instead of opportunists. For what it's worth they've already said it'll be 1 per person. So we've at least got that going for us. Again, thanks for the negativity! You're great at it!

Negativity? It's called REALITY. Do you hear yourself? You're asking for FAIR treatment by wanting an ADVANTAGE over everyone else. That's your idea of "fair" LOL please go back to whatever hole you've been hiding in for the 3 years since you joined the forums and take your 4 useless posts with you. K? bye

Yes, of course. Welcome back Mr negativity. I wonder how many of your posts are negative. You come across as so unhappy with your life.

I want a fair shot from the bots that buy everything under the sun and then resell it on ebay for double. Yes. Fair for human sake. If you're going to buy one, and you can't, i bet you'll be the first to **** about it too. Mr Negativity. Thanks for checking my stats btw. The love isn't mutual, so why don't you go do something useful?

First off, evga themselves has been denying that their stock is being stolen by bits.
Second off. I'm not sure how you figure these bits couldn't get elite status.
It's really not that hard. Again.

Any chance Elite Members will get first crack at ordering a 30 series card? Probably not, but it doesn't hurt to ask, right?

I'm of the "I want mature drivers before I buy" mindsight.  In all my past evga purchases I've waited until at LEAST the 5th or 6th official nvidia driver release.    I can see the excitement of getting the new card day one, but if you don't, aren't mature drivers a good consolation a couple months down the track?

OK. You can buy the card and wait for drivers though.
Whereas if you wait for drivers and there are no more stocks, you lost your chance for what might be months :-)

Well they did hint at Elite possibly getting the first crack at the K|ngp|n cards, which would make sense. But unfortunately for me, I'm not an Elite member :/

True that!     But look on the bright side, every person like me who chooses to wait means one other person who wants it day one gets a better shot ;)
