Hello, I am going to install the thermal pads for my 1070 and have a few questions.  I hope this is the right place to ask it.  Since I will be removing the shroud, I decided to paint it.  What is the best type of spray paint to use for the shroud (ACX3) and the backplate. Does spray painting it void my warranty?

I would suggest you purchase a spare shroud and back plate and paint those. That way if your card ever fails while under warranty, you can put the original shroud and back plate back on it and RMA it warranty intact.

The backplate gets extremely hot (or at least mine does after the thermal mod). I'd be careful of what paint you would use to paint it.

Unfortunately you would need to return the item in its original configuration as you would be charged for any missing, Damaged or painted parts.
