Got a bit of tidying to do, but slapped the hybrid kit on my 3080ti FTW3 Ultra and got it all in the new case last night :D
Grats on your new rig + Hybrid Kit and hope you're happier with those cooler temps.

I turned off the red LED on the side of the GPU. Looks terrible and the S21 Ultra takes awful pics on literally everything I have taken a picture of (terrific for a $1200 phone claiming to have the best camera ever) so now the raw silver of the build stands out a little better and there is enough red accents to not be overkill. I don't mind the motherboard LED's that much. Initially I had planned red RAM but that would have been too much red I think. Not into the whole LED ram and RGB thing so I tried to tone it down without fully turning it off. I wanted to embrace a red accent like maybe say an engine bay that's been modified. I loved the brown fans inside a white case with just enough black to not be totally white. I also like them because they don't show dust. But so far I am happy. Turned out about as expected. Of course, Fractal drops the Torrent right after I complete it as a slap in the case, but maybe next build there will be a Torrent v2 or an ITX variant. Who knows. I may end up in the SFX category.
Keep em coming guys and gals. I enjoy the inspiration from those with better taste than me ;)

Great job on the system you got there. Nice and clean. You actually made it look pretty good as much as I'm not a fan (pun) of the noctua color scheme. The contrast colors you've added balance it out.

I am in the middle of a rebuild to a different case, I will posy mine soon lol. My question: Did all the 3090 FTW3 Ultra's have the lit RGB EVGA logo on the backplate? My original one did not.. the refurbished RMA replace does.. and it was a shock to me.. did not even know that feature existed and I am wondering if that was also another issues with my old card?

Still have a OCZ ModXStream 600W power supply hanging around. Not in use these days, but still works! I have some of the DDR2 RAM someone around here, as well.. the RAM kits with the heat pipes coming out either side going into a heatsink on top. Good stuff!

That case is gorgeous. Does the open air design cause it to run warmer at all?

The open air design, causes it to run cooler compared to this one other case I had on hand (DeepCool Matrexx 50). When I had made the switch still running with air cooling, temps dropped like a good 10c-15c since the hot air wasnt trapped in the case anymore.

That's amazingly awesome. It kind of turns on it's head the reasoning that a case must be sealed and have positive/negative pressure to cool better.

He has a custom loop, so the case air flow is much negated by the use of the cooling loop to control temps of the primary components. That's the benefit of the custom loop as cases which may or may not have the best air flow solutions can be used while still have great temps. I'm also not sure as I haven't built an air cooled pc in that case yet, but I've seen them in the local custom pc store and they looked great while still performing well. Maybe it's because heat is less likely to get trapped in that open air design. The only thing that got me was the open nature of the case. If you have your pc in a dusty area, you are going to need to blow out your case more often but it is a real looker. I was considering using this case for my son's upgrade build going on right now, but his room's a mess and a bit dusty which pushed me to build his new open loop pc into Lian Li 011 Dynamic. I almost pulled the trigger on that open air case though as i was tempted.

Very cool setup you got going on there. I'm intrigued by the newer EK blocks for these GPUs. Wondering what the temps were with the flow added on the backside of the VRAM.

Haven't yet seen any new 30 series builds with Optimus's latest cerakote midplate blocks. So here I'd like to share how my 3080ti/3090 looks, which desperately needed one of these in order to get closer to completing my mostly white and blue build. Shown are before and after swapping out the nickel midplate with the white cerakote midplate (along with a few other changes to my build). Before: After:

Thanks. In September, I preordered an Aquacomputer flow meter like the one you mentioned in another thread, but the retailer hasn't received any supply of it yet and their latest ETA is for January of next year. But once that flow meter eventually comes in, I plan on also adding it in the loop somewhere, since I have no idea how my flow rate is currently with the way the loop is setup and however much resistance is present.

Right on. Throw us a image of that once you're set. Always nice to know how it's flowing and can be a saver since it's letting you know the flow's health if something should arise.

lol true - my wife's CLC120 has been running flawlessly for over 3 years... and more significantly, the CLC AiO coolers have a 5 year warranty, so EVGA expects them to last *at least* 5 years.
