Current iteration of fan arrangement (it's changed a lot the last week):

I have found that having that one fan exhausting out of the Expansion Slots (if you don't have any other cards installed) makes a big difference in GPU temps, as it removes hot air that might otherwise be recycled, a lot faster.  The other fan just "hanging out" down there is to keep the PCH/M.2 drives happier... and then there's the RAM fan... I'll make that look neater if I even decide to keep it.  It did keep my RAM down under 34C while gaming, which is quite the task with the 3080 blowing hot air in to that region.

I see almost 100% non-EVGA motherboards! **** guys!

I am a stereo typical example of brand loyal.  I have used ASUS motherboards for 20 years, used Corsair ram going back to DDR2, and EVGA video cards back to the 660ti.  if I don't have any problems with it, then the next thing I buy will be from the same brand.

Main system
Intel 6850k / Asus Rampage Extreme V Edition 10 / 32g 3200 Corsair Dominator RGB / EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra / Samsung 950 pro NVME 500g / Samsung 850 Evo 1t / Samsung 850 Evo 1t

evga makes great motherboards but ive been loyal to ROG since the original maximus formula X38, pair with my EVGA 8800GTS 512 of course :)

Well, for one, they don't make AMD boards and second, I feel the other board makers have more features. EVGA boards don't have things like NVME heatsinks, built in I/O shields and more robust audio software. Some may not find these important while others will. I find the 4 bright yellow capacitors unsightly which ruins the Dark aesthetic for me.

If I was running an Intel CPU I might buy an EVGA Motherboard.  I've never had one.  On the other hand... EVGA doesn't make an AM4 board at this time.  Which I assume is about the same as them being Nvidia only for GPU's.

I do at least have an EVGA power supply.!

My eyes hurts looking at this. It looks like one of those carnival mirror rooms with RGB. lol.  That case makes the 3080 look small too. Beautiful still and like others have said, you must have some great temps.

Funny that even I would think that, but if I set the fans properly (50%), it's actually not noticeably loud at all, and still runs decently cool.  At the fan profile I normally use, it's "noticeable" but not obnoxious.  Most of the fans set to 70% in that case.  I have 2 fans that are for some odd reason louder than the rest, on the front of the case, going to remount those (the top two, oddly, they're the same kind of fan but 2 different sizes) & see if I can fix that because there's no reason for them to be making more noise than the rest at the same fan speed settings.
I'm going to be swapping the two intake fans for the Vardar 120s that are currently under the GPU, putting one of the 140s currently on the top as intake back as the rear exhaust (it just works better & makes less noise, weird but true), I have 1 more Vardar 120 I'll put down there as the expansion slot exhaust, then I'll have a 140 that's not in the system anymore... unless I decide to stick it on the RAM & pull the one currently on the RAM...
I should try a Vardar on the RAM just for the heck of it.  If you've never used EK Vardars I highly recommend them, they are pretty much dead silent at ~50% and still move a good bit air than the other 120s I have at that speed, which is why I'm moving two of them to VRM/RAM intake duty.
Once I get my Hybrid card & the fan setup is more permanent, I plan on doing rubber fan screw replacements on as many fans as I can, to further reduce vibration noise...
As for temps, current idles with 71F ambient:

The "maximum temps" were while gaming for about 2 hours earlier in the morning, RAM fan was only at 50% so the RAM got a bit warmer than I expected... and the Sabrent M.2 (second drive listed) was getting intermitently warm because I'm currently preloading Watch Dogs Legion on to it, and it's also the drive with the game I was playing on it... as well as it being in the "exhaust path" of the 3080 as much as the main M.2 drive is.  Can't wait to get a Hybrid card again so that will no longer be an issue.

It is a large case, I'm planning to go full open loop at some point, which is what it's designed for:

I came up in the queue last week for the 3080 FTW3 Ultra and it has been sitting in the box until the AMD announcement today.  Tomorrow I meet up with a co worker who I just sold it to for the purchase price and Nov18 will be gunning for the 6800XT direct from AMD or if needed one of the AIB’s like Sapphire to go along with the 5900X I will be upgrading to.
Ill keep my 2070 Super FTW3 around as a spare since I have another build in mind just for fun in the near future.

Ummm... correct me if I'm wrong, isn't that a Quad Channel board?  If so you're severely gimping yourself by not running 4 DIMMs of RAM if I remember correctly, the difference between Dual Channel & Quad Channel (when the CPU is designed for Quad Channel) is not as dramatic as Single vs Dual, but it's still big.
Upon further inspection, that is X299... please tell me you put all 4 sticks in. lol

On the note of my own system, I did a thing:

I'm not totally sure if that 200mm is actually doing anything useful, probably gonna end up removing it again.

And with that setup I hit this, with the GPU not OCed at all: https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/52436829

What am I looking at here... are you running TWO motherboards in a single case?  Dude if so, that's wack and dope as hell all at the same time :)  Nicely done.

Not that long ago there were a lot of dual-system cases on the market for Streamer purposes, so that if your PC does randomly crash, the "smaller ITX system" would be running your Stream, and your stream wouldn't crash too.
Most people don't do that anymore because one system can handle both, as long as it's stable.
I can also understand having dual systems for rendering etc.
Who knows, it looks spiffy with all it's tiny parts on the smaller one.

Unfortunately not an EVGA card, I just randomly went to the Nvidia store (UK) to see the MSRP and I saw it was in stock, I just got insanely lucky to find a card at that time. Was insanely power limited at 400w though even with 0 clock offsets, and the 3090 Kingpin looks way too tempting so I sold it onto a friend for the same price I bought it, was fun while it lasted, now I've gone back to my ol' reliable 980ti Kingpin until I can get my hands on the 3090 KP :D It's just a matter of being patient now, the FTW3's look really tempting to me especially with the new beta bios to raise the power limit and then if I watercool it I'd be pretty near a Kingpin I'd think. Here's to hoping I can wait!

Thicc.
I would give some serious stuff to get an FE 3090, just because it looks so darn cool, and I'm pretty sure with my case setup it'd be quite happy temperature wise.
But, I'll settle for getting a 3080 Hybrid in a few weeks (hopefully).

What am I looking at here... are you running TWO motherboards in a single case?  Dude if so, that's wack and dope as hell all at the same time :)  Nicely done.

yup, it's a dual system build.

Who knows, it looks spiffy with all it's tiny parts on the smaller one.

in my case, the ITX system is my TV.  I didn't want to have to pay to rent another cable box for my office so I had a mac mini bolted to the back of my monitor.  it was quite old and was having problems with HD video causing the fans to kick on so I wanted to build a new computer to replace it this last spring.  but I also didn't want to have 2 computers on my desk, this was my solution.  when I am streaming, rarely, I will have my twitch dashboard up on that computer purely for monitoring things.  and this case also affords me space that my old case didn't if I wanted to build a custom loop in the future.
