can anybody suggest how to get more than 15500 on timespy? and I'am constantly crashing when overclocking past 2ghz, the temps are quite low about 80-82c on 2130mhz 
the case is nzxt h210i modded with extra case fans on both sided of the aio
and the cpu is 10600k with asus z490i 

If you want it to boost more for better scores your gonna have to keep the temps lower then that or it's not gonna happen.

ok i'll try running on higher fan ratios and maybe i should check the thermal paste?

Your gpu is being choked by psu shroud.

I've tried removing the shroud and rotating the power supply to enable maximum ventilation for the card fans, but this gets the card much hotter because of all the hot air coming from the psu, so that's defintely a nogo @Pennywise359, I've put everything back together and I really enjoy how it completely isolates the 2 airflows (one from the psu and the other from the gpu)
I can get my card at 65-70c when running the fans at maximum with about 1999mhz overclock

Here is mine. Waiting for GPU waterblock for the 3090 FTW3 Ultra.

Hi. I have the same case!

Did you use the Phanteks Vertical GPU Bracket? Did the 3080 fit without any problems in there? How ware your thermals on the vertical GPU?

yup yup, used the Phanteks vertical mount kit.  and didn't need to modify anything to make it fit.  where it screws to the back of the case, it is a little fiddly and it is easy to nearly cross thread the screws.  but if they give you any resistance screwing in just wiggle the bracket a little bit and they should drop in place.  
 
here is a pic of the bracket mounted.  ignore the fact I have the cable plugged into the wrong PCI slot on the motherboard.  LOL.  it's in slot 1 like it should be.  
 
and it is slightly bent vertically because I have one of the included foam pads under it.  once I got the card installed I took the pad out.

Did the cable reach the PCIE Slot 1 or did you have to move the whole bracket up? Were your card temps better than horizontal? Could we have more pics of this build?

in the pic, the cable was plugged into slot 3 because I wasn't paying any attention.  the cable reaches slot 1 like it should with the bracket in the furthest down position and that is where it is now.
 
there are more pics in my PCpartpicker links in my signature.  those pics start with where I had removed everything from my old case and was installing it into this case.  I don't really take beauty shots, I just kind of take shots as I do things.  so don't expect a full on gallery.  LOL.
 
as far as temps go, I really don't have a comparison to a horizontal mount.  but with the vertical in there, and the switch in the OC position, it idles between 31/32c.  under load with Timespy just now I saw it max out at 71.  that is with fans in auto and out of the box overclock.  I am completely okay with that.

3D printed open build. 

Holy smokes.  That is absolutely awesome.  You're own design?  Didn't even think of the possibility of a 3D printed case (even though I've thought about making a 3D printed I/O shield for a retro MB that's missing one...).  Looks fantastic.

This setup is temporary - waiting on a GPU block to set up a full loop.. going to be a very tight fit with 2 x 280mm radiators (one at top, one at bottom)
 

 

Finally got my hands on one. :) Now to find a waterblock. 
 

Still working on cleaning up some cables and the layout, but this is it so far.

Looks similar to my build expect I'm on the AMD platform.  I actually used the Cooler Master vertical mount which is much more sturdy than the Phanteks one.  Only issue was it came stock with a PCIE 3 riser so I had to buy a replacement.  This was also before my 3rd 8 pin cable came in so I had to use a prior black/red one.  Hoping to complete this with a water block soon.
 

 

Very nice, sir.  one day I would like to do a custom loop in mine.  but it will probably be a wile before I do.  I have been saying that for about 10 years now.  LOL
