I selected the wrong model on the drop down and not sure hot to fix. I ordered a rtx 2080ti but selected just the 2080 it seems. how do i fix this?

You don't need to fix anything at this point. When we created the promo, we expected things like that to happen, or just simply that people will end up purchasing a different card than they originally expected. The second step of this promotion is that after you register the product and upload a copy of your proof of purchase, we'll approve and send you an email to come back to the promotion page to select the Trim Kit for the card(s) you actually register and confirm your address. When Trim Kits are available, we'll send them out to people, but only if they've completed this second step.

Why is the FTW3 trim so ugly?

It's a big, ugly web blocking air flow.
Maybe this option was done to just throw an 'addition' to justify the astronomical prices. Regardless, I never understood that design as I think that design was hastily done. Luckily it's optional.

Looks like it might be designed to be used with open chassis systems, keeps ya from accidentally touching the fan or having something drop in there.

they send it you after your register the card and request the color you want

To clarify, all EVGA RTX cards will have a default Trim Kit installed. If you would like a different color, we will be selling different colors separately. Currently there is a promotion to get a second color for free, you can sign up HERE

I don't get it ,it still tells me to "confirm" my shipping address however I can't see any place where to confirm this. Updated my details as well but still same.
"Confirm your shipping address is correct before submitting your Trim Kit selection

Are RTX 2070 cards eligible? The promo headline says "REGISTER TO GET A FREE TRIM KIT WITH YOUR. EVGA GEFORCE® RTX™ 20-SERIES CARD", but none of the cards in the drop-down are 2070's.

08G-P4-2081-KR isn't listed in the "plan to buy" menu. The product page does list the free trim kit offer. It is listed under "Eligible Products" menu after purchasing, but there are no trim options listed in the drop down menu. It's currently not possible to claim a kit / confirm address with this model. The ti and blower versions probably have the same issue.

Hopefully you have pictures to upload of with both colors. It's cool to be able to customize the cards even if it's something you probably won't notice that much unless your looking for it. It just to me feels more like my system when I customize it.
I have Hydro Copper Water Blocks installed on both cards. We can only have one Kit Per household so I only did get one kit.

Did you Sign Up?
Yes, right after I got my 2070 XC Ultra on 23 October. There was no option for my card, so I selected the 2080 XC Ultra, as the coolers are the same.
