EVGA have repeatedly said that you can disassemble the card to repaste or to use a waterblock or hybrid as long as you do no physical damage to the card or stock cooler as a result and replace the stock cooler if you need to RMA. It says as much on the warranty information on the site I believe.
They're pretty much the only company with this policy (which is why I chose them). If you install a block and chip the PCB then you will void your warranty. If you install a block incorrectly and soak the card and damage it that way then you'll void the warranty. If you install the block correctly and the card fails due to a manufacturer defect your warranty is fine.
You can even purchase up to a 10 year warranty when you register your card.
There are a couple of stickers on the card but they're just tamper stickers to allow evga to know to inspect the card closely when you RMA it, it does not void the warranty by removing them.
