Red light on EVGA Rtx 3080ti ftw HydroCopper

Hi all.
 
So I've just completed my build and upon booting up everything looks good except my GPU.
 
There is a single red light on towards the left of the cables.
For reference, if I unplug the power cables there are 4 red lights on.
 
Does anyone know what this means?
 
I've tried removing the cable extensions using just the PSU cables but the same red light is appearing.
 
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I think it means that it isn't getting power from the riser cable, but I am not sure.

    Before saying it is a dead card, the riser cable should be called into question. That red light means no PCI-E power, right?
    The dead ones in your thread died AFTER use AFTER one of the fuses blew, right? But couldn't the riser cable be bad and not providing power to a card which is BRAND NEW and never been used before.

    My evga 3080 ftw3 ultra died with exact same red light. Bad production sadly. Just chose a better brand at this point honestly.. Asus?

    If you have a red light please apply for an RMA.

    I saw it , this one time at band camp, with one of the riser cables got unseated at the power supply end, double check with different cables and output ports possibly then RMA
