  FarCry New Dawn
  because it demonstrates how little the RTX 3080 performance matters in 1080p gaming. At this resolution, there is only an 11% difference between all the cards in this test. The graphics card performance matters a lot more once we jump to 1440p and 2160.

2pm in what time zone?

Since the prices are in UK Pounds I would expect 2pm, BST. However it could be 2pm PST. Hopefully it is 2pm BST. That would make more sense. 

Thanks, going to be looking closely at the pricing and power limit of the 3080 Hybrid(s).

These prices are guidelines. Overclockers think the more standard cards will have the correct prices but the high end models, such as the FTW3 are subject to change. The strix models got put up to £830 and £850 due to Asus updating the guidelines.

 

it looks like a £10 premium over the prices listed on on Nvidia's site, which might translate to a $20 price over Nvidia's price, that said, those prices might just be guesses, not based on any solid quotes for prices.

i'm assuming card dimensions will be posted once the product section is updated with the RTX 3 series?

Dimensions for FTW3 are 300 x 136.75 x 55.55mm
XC3 is 285.37 x 111.15 x 45.1mm (40.9 for Black)

Another thing that's kind of interesting, is that some of the prices they list are below Nvidia's price, I don't know if that means Nvidia's cooler is better than some manufactures minimum coolers, or if it a guess that's a bit off, or something else.

Does anyone know if these prices are going to be 1:1 analogous to the USD prices, or is there any US price info yet? My 1080FTW for $679 US felt like an awesome price point that disappeared for years.

UK prices include the 20% VAT, so if you remove that from the 3090 FTW3 price to better compare it, you end up at around 1175 british pounds, which converts to 1560 USD.  
Do we really believe that EVGA's top of the line FTW3 is only $60 more expensive than nVidia's FE? 

There is another brand that sells a card that is equivalent to the FTW3 (usually) with only +30 on core so it seems like there is not much room for improvement on the 3090. If that is also the case with EVGA FTW3 then to be honest 60 USD above MSRP is good enough and anything higher might not really be worth it. Personally my budget allows for up to $150 over MSRP otherwise I am going XC3.

Sure I can believe it. 

People fail to understand that the FE's extruded aluminum cooler, as beautiful and functional as it is, is much more expensive than any AIB plastic shroud cooler. The FTW3 may be "only" another $60 but in actuality, the card is priced where it should be accounting for development and manufacturing cost saved with the cheaper cooling solution. Say the FE cooler costs another $100 to make over FTW3, the actual math works out to the FTW3 being $160 more than FE accounting for this. 
 
Just pointing out my observations, I'm going with an XC3 because I intend to put it under a water block from the get go and only EKWB will have them at launch and they will only work with "reference PCB" (read: not FE) and I don't care how well designed or beautiful the cooler is as it will be going into storage, kept around for potential RMA purposes.

I remember Nvidia say somewhere that the founder edition cooler cost was 150$ or so to make and developed. 

I suspect that those prices from overclokers are for the base model, XC3, rather than FTW3.
