I guarantee they're able to, I think the problem would be that the buyer would have to report them. I also think that EVGA wont put resources into blocking scalpers more than theyre already doing.

If you were there for the first Kingpin Que, the site crashed for 30 seconds, and then you had 30 seconds to get in. This looks like it was done in 20 seconds, and so with the increase in demand, somewhat expected. Hopefully they will have a second wave, just like they did for the AIO.

The requirements for becoming ELITE hasn't changed, people are just applying for it more regularly because of the limited quantity and demands for the products. They didn't make it easier, more people are just taking advantage of it. Its been happening since the original 3080 launch, a lot of people had 1080s and 20 series cards and didn't register them because they didn't know it gave them elite status. I feel bad for those that were not able to get their cards today, especially those that had passed on previous attempts or given up their spot in queue earlier for a chance at this one, but EVGA is still doing more than just about every other company to ensure cards are put into the hands of people, and if its any consolation, I too got the error twice today and missed my notify spot, I was trying to get one for my wife's computer.

That's crazy, I never thought they would pull the notify option so quick. I was in right at 9 and never even had the submit option show up/work. So much for thinking I'd be like 30 seconds off if I screwed up.

Sure, but the ability to get the status just by spamming forum posts invalidates those who got in via purchases, its opens the whole program up to abuse(yeah sure some scalpers are eligible based on past purchases). I don't need a card personally, my KingPin hydrocopper block came today. Combine this with them only making a post on twitter about this happening today versus emailing Elite members was another horrible move, had no clue it even dropped this morning.

Check your My Notifies
Not in My Notifies, so it appears I was too late even though it allowed me through the process seemingly successfully (no error).

I get this if I refresh any of EVGA's site/forums too much in a short period of time too. I either have to wait an abnormal amount of time, or clear my history out (Which could be the cookie too)

No, I didn't. And, yes, I am bitter about it. One forum member offered to send his to me at cost, but this is a story I am going to tell my grandchildren one day and I am going to finish my watch out...come hell or highwater. But I did really appreciate the sentiment...more than I can adequately express. Again, congratulations to all who made it in! Edit: And, yes, I think I damaged my vocal chords with my scream about 40 minutes ago. So, so frustrated.

I tried, but apparently I'm not "elite" enough. The 'auto notify' never went live for me. I guess the standard 3090 Hybrid will have to do for now. At least I'm picking up that Red Devil 6900 XT Ultimate this weekend.
