Zotac is dropping 50-150 cards at a time on their own retail site every other day sometimes every day. Getting one is tricky but not impossible. EVGA queue seems to barely be moving 1-2 cards per day. Amazon notifications for EVGA cards come and go within micro seconds, straight to the bots, does EVGA care? No.

Where are all the cards going EVGA? We are rotting away in your queue meanwhile other AIB's are actually selling tangible products. At this point the conspiracies of cards going out the back door at scalped prices are not so far fetched.

Zotac isn’t on Best Buy. They dont have a step up program. Evga queue is almost the same as zotac online sales. Then again evga is the smallest out of all the nvidia aib. But go ahead n shop at zotac n see if you can actually have a card. Oh wait u don’t n that’s why you’re here and whining. Some people are too entitled Karen for their own good

what??? How on earth is zotac remotely similar to evga? At least you can buy zotac cards! Plus they had a better warranty before but I think that's changed recently due to miners.

Is there a option to monitor at which place you are in the queue? I am waiting since January and nothing changed. By the way, is there a big difference in chance depending what kind of card you choose? I would prefer to buy a variant with a waterblock installed but I fear supply would be even lower on this one's...

I had completely forgotten that I signed up for the 3080 XC3 Black on 9/18. Kind of a slap in the face knowing they are making other versions of the card and people that queued much later have already gotten Ultra versions.

The queue for the 3080 is by far the worst one. Don't expect to receive your GPU anytime soon.

Re: RTX 3080 queue 2021/06/02 23:19:48 (permalink)
I have been on the waiting list for ALL of the 3080 / 3070's in both Europe and the USA (i live 50/50 in both) , as yet I have heard nothing... but then again, my Notifies page shows NOTHING on both accounts...

But if I go onto the product page  and ask to be notified , it tells me I am already listed...

I am now at the stage where I am going to have to scrap the new computer i built due to no graphics card, and go buy a whole one... The company I am looking at got a couple of Hundred FTW3's in and a few Hundred other 3080's from EVGA. they will  not sell the cards alone, only in a system, with a £56 bump onto the RRP, for the pleasure, and another £265 to build the system on top.

over the years I have bought a few Hundred cards for friends / family and work from EVGA, now I have went 9 months without a sniff of one. I am honestly Sick and fed up of seeing all these Youtubers flashing about all of the EVGA and other cards , so much so as soon as it mentions Video, i just go elsewhere to waster my time, I do not need to get angry whilst already fed up!

lol for the first time in over a decade, I am willing to just take ANY card i can get 3070 / 3070ti / 3080, RX6700 / RX 6800 / RX6800XT, from anybody, even a cheap and nasty as long as it works, its better than the nothing I have!

That or just Use the Mac Full time running boot camp or parallels

LMAO - I do not know, I have asked a few times Direct to EVGA, and as of yet have still to get a reply!!!

To add insult to Injury, I have the other day received an email, that informs me that I am on Multiple Card Wait Queues, annd Have been requested to reduce down to my top 2 Cards....

this is understandable, I have 2 Accounts JFord047 & JFord048, each account has a request to buy for EVERY MODEL of RTX 3070 & RTX 3080 in both Europe and the USA (The RTX 3070Ti for the Wife was sorted for Her)

if the RTX 3070Ti was the only choice I would Grab it... but I want specifically an RTX 3080 FTW Gaming Ultra, as  to When i may get on - no idea, unless I buy a Prebuilt Computer (that I do not need nor want) then I can have it at a massive increase in cost in under 10 Days...

So Here is my Reply to EVGA's Support's email.... Just for Public Proof , they KNow that I have multiple requests, But still do not understand that I cannot See them

Hi – Good Morning

I have contacted you , I have put up on the Community Board and as yet Not Got an Answer!!!

You Now WANT ME, TO REMOVE ALL BUT 2 CARDS FROM THE NOTIFIES, to Allow people to get a card quicker!!!!

I agree with your principle, but how in the name of hell am I able to do that???  Sine lass year I have been telling you that the only way I know I have applied for the card is to go in and basically reserve it again, I have  had NO NOTIFIES, with the exception of the RTX 3070 Ti

I wanted a new RTX 3080 FTW card for Myself, and NEEDED a Card 3070 / 3070Ti / 3080 any type for My wives computer that had sat without a Graphics card since December 2020.

I eventually found an RTX 3070Ti card  in the UK for Just under £1000 – Not Scalped on ebay etc, But direct from a retail store, Just SCALPED  in a different way! So Now I only  want a Single card. My Preference is an FTW card which I can liquid cool at a later date with the Hydro-Copper Kit.

But I would like a New Graphics card at some point, before I am too Old to use a computer, there in lies the Problem, Which one am I going to get quicker???  What Flavour of FTW / XC etc , your telling people to reduce their card options, and I agree, for Manufacturing   / reserving purposes, I can see the point of getting in the correct number without disturbing the supply chain to the Retail Section.  But without a time line, how is anyone meant to know WHEN they would get their card????

I would also like to point out, When I reserved My card, The RTX 3080 FTW, the price was a good one in my  opinion, and EVGA informed me that they would honor that price after the changes in the TRUMP TAX’s.

Since then  -A Long Long time Ago, I have been willing to buy – You have been unable to supply, your prices have continued to rise on a reserved product! And I am no wiser on When your going to be able to supply still, or at what final price. This is also in my Mind a  Form of Scalping, but[image]d:\1\1.png[/image] in this case at least understandable Cost Vs Supply Vs Profit margin.

So  please see attached my Notifies Pages , and tell me WHICH RTX  3080 CARD, I Should remove from the List????

If you can work it out, then I must be more than 80% Blind, as I cannot see any!!!

Everyone wants to be given the opportunity to buy already. Time is running out, the new generation is about to be released and we haven't received the old one yet. It reminds me a bit of the 80s in Poland, where some items were on cards / coins and you had to wait in line in the store.

Even if EVGA's prices went up, yes I was disappointed in that, it is still cheaper than the other manufacturers. You can pretty much check every website or retail stores. When I started building my current PC since August of 2020, it sat without a cpu and gpu until after Christmas of 2020. I made the mistake of queueing for the 3080 black model that pretty much went nowhere and have learned to only queue up for the premium models. However, since the 3060 was released this year, I've received the notification to buy 6 video cards before the current notification queue was changed. The most recent one was the 3080 Ti ftw3 ultra which I turned down due to buying the 3090 KP two weeks before that.  I've tried bestbuy and newegg many times and have not been able to beat the bots at all. I've been to microcenter several times and haven't seen any video cards in stock, so as long as the wait was for EVGA, it was still worth it for me, provided you queue up as soon as you can when a new product was launched.

Regardless of how bitter you are about this situation, remember, you are only one of millions of gamers...and scalpers who signed up for the queue. Also, if you live outside the US...then yes, the situation is worse for the EU counterparts.

There's an updated queue list post in this forum by enewt of all the 3000x models and you can kind of gauge how soon it will get to your turn in the queue. Best of luck.

There are not enough cards to go around. Does anyone think EVGA has the power to change this? No matter what they do, a LOT of people are still going to be unhappy.

We're a year away roughly till the next gen but the performance jump might not be as big as some might think.  If someone needs a GPU, they should get one.  Because of miners, etc., used GPUs hold more value than ever before.

Also, I'm hearing about a possible refresh (rumored) coming up/early next year.
