Hi all,
I'm new to this forum and I would like to know if an elite member will get 24h early access to the 3080Ti cards.
If so, it would be impossible to get one without the elite status right?

If a 3080Ti sku is eventually released, Elite members will be able to sign up ~24 hours prior to non-Elite members.

Well, you have to remember that he does all the queue tracking for NA so yeah, he cranks them out!

You can add yourself to the queue.

Yes, your only signing up to the queue. When your turn comes up, they will let you know your up and THEN you purchase.

In theory, yes, in practice... well, depends on how fast you want to get to 100, very possible if you pace yourself and don't rush, and really commit to finding topics you can contribute too. Could also go the route of points on twitch to get elite too.

Id say that depends on where you live. With all the dangerous and unhinged people out there in certain cities "protesting", if Microcenter, or whoever your going to, is close enough to those places they may, on there march, end up there. Would be cool if the announcement did still come on the 18th, although the latest rumors have it pushed back to somewhere around the 31st. All this is only rumors of course, although that MSI slip-up and other smoke suggest the fire may be real this time.

Even if this were to happen (which it wont, at least not a complete ban, probably more regulation), this wouldn't fix it in the short term anyway. Scalpers would still try to snatch all the cards to keep the prices high :/ I really do hope the hardware change for the Ethereum algorithm will have an actual effect for regular users this time around. For huge mining companies they could probably buy/create hacked drivers but it would be in their best interest to keep that to themselves (for low GPU prices). The rest of the world just got lucky Nvidia made a dumb mistake by releasing beta drivers.. I think the anouncement will be at the end of the month. I'm not in a rush, but I'm curious what the MSRP will be tho...

I'm hopeful myself but not holding my breath... I figure EVGA is doing it better than most places that may not care if they sell to bots or scalpers en masse just to move inventory. Might as well try this whole thing out. And I've learned some things from the forums already. Making posts here n there.

They have been getting a lot of 3070 and 3090 Step Ups filled lately - Queue time is a month or less now. I think the 3080s dried up because nVidia was making 3080Ti cards. Hopefully those will be easier to get.
