Just signed up for 3090 queue after hearing how bad the 3080 queue was so this is a bit of a relief. What might happen to those who are still in the queue but waiting on a 3080? Are they just going to get pushed to a 3070ti/3080ti queue?

I fear worse.  They will never see fulfillment of their step up.  I have never heard of EVGA changing a step-up queue product due to lack of availability.  It would be amazing of them to offer that choice.  Even worse, I think the SKU we are all signed up for will be changed to the new LHR version, and have a different part #, so we are waiting for a GPU that isn't going to even be made anymore.
 
Good choice on switching to the 3090.  You will probably get your GPU in about a month.

I would assume just time stamped. You're either elite or you're not.

You will get an early place in the queue. How long it'll take is up to EVGA.

So do they announce a new card a certain amount of time before the Elite queue is opened up?
 
Regarding the earlier thought about probably needing a bot to get something... *sign* Yea well, most of us don't have a bot... :(

The whole point of the EVGA system is to block bots & scalpers
You probably don't need one here ?

it does except that most people que evrything and they make mutiple accounts to que for GPUs...in the end other people still get these cards no matter waht. 

How will we even know where to go for the queue or if it is live? We have a time, but no location, do you think it will just be on the main page?

They prob will appear in the products>Graphics cards>Rtx 30 series

For the KP HC, the product page went up a few minutes early and then the notify button appeared when the queue opened.

I became an Elite member yesterday (after seeing this thread as I didn't know about the Elite status beforehand...luckily I've purchased and registered several EVGA products in the past). Also curious on this queue system as I really want the 3080 Ti. It will be my first time having an 80 card.

Gonna be a real bummer if the 80TI queue moves faster than the existing queue.

that's exactly what will happen. at least initially. hundreds of cards will be available right away. people signing up for a 3080ti essentially jump the line of everyone in the 3080 queue.

Good enough for me. I’m thankful they even have a queue.

Have they not posted a link to purchase yet? Or would be up when its live?
