In theory, yes, in practice... well, depends on how fast you want to get to 100, very possible if you pace yourself and don't rush, and really commit to finding topics you can contribute too. Could also go the route of points on twitch to get elite too.

And please have fun when making posts. Try not to view it as a "chore" to hit 100 posts.
 
There was a post about which car is your favorite that I found last week and it really made me start google searching and researching which one I liked best. It was a fun 10-minute activity for me that I really enjoyed.
 
Getting to 100 is much more bearable and easier when you're having fun in the process.

Do you think all kinds of skus will be available for pre-order or only the basic vanilla ones at first. I am looking for a card with pre-installed waterblock... 

I also think that the elite system from EVGA will not help mitigate the run on there cards and they will be sold out in minutes...

Minutes?  Try seconds if the server holds.

The first batch be gone in seconds, indeed. However, after that the order in the queue is the important point and I think as soon as early you can put your name on the list it will be an advantage for you... Even if a few thousand cards are sold in the first minute you should have a better chance to receive your card in the next few months...

They should do it in order of earliest registered EVGA product, I'm sure there are other long term EVGA fans like me who have rarely ever come onto forums but owned a few generations of EVGA cards and PSUs.

If you do then you probably already have access to elite member status thanks to your older generations of EVGA cards registered. And as Elite member will have 24h exclusive access, they are already doing what you are suggesting in a way.

I do have access already, I'm only speaking to the users registered since the 3080ti announcement who appear to be trying to spam posts to gain elite status. No one should have a hundred posts or more in a matter of days... IMO these are people who have no prior relationship with EVGA products trying to sneak a spot in line from actual EVGA customers.
 
Don't get me wrong, I am all for getting more cards in the hands of "real" users - be it gamers, professionals, or even miners. It just seems like A LOT of the present demand is coming instead from people (outside of those categories) who are only interested in scalping the cards for a profit. 

The future is looking good for gamers! NOT. Sadly its only going to get worst because supply/demand is increasing beyond the resources we have. So Mars here we come ;) 

I heard that the 3070s bios update sets the power limit lower than the limit in the bios it was shipped with. Was this resolved recently?

Mine is only jan 08 21 and still never had the chance to buy anything but been an elite member since it started so I guess will see if it is any different for the new "early access" but instead I think it has likely just bloated the elite membership numbers to include a lot of scalpers instead.  Oh well, good luck to those of you who plan to use the card yourself -  I hope you get one.
