thanks for the beta vBIOS, flashed both to their corresponding mode, and they both able to display the BIOS screen on my Alienware aw2721d 240Hz monitor.

My 3090 FTW Ultra (converted to hybrid) sometime refuses to wake up the monitor as well.
Usually CTRL + ALT + DELETE fixes the issue and I am able to see POST.
I wonder if 3090 will get BIOS update as well.

Fixed the issue on the Normal BIOS!! I haven't tried the OC BIOS but I'm sure if the normal worked, there will be no issues on the OC BIOS!! Thanks for the fix!!

thanks for the vBios files. the oc one also works perfectly fine for now. Bios on displayport 1.4 at boot.

I had the same issue with my 3080TI FTW3 and G7 Samsung.
It worked fine if i set DP1.2 on the monitor but with that, there is no HDR. I used the beta vbios and can confirmed it worked. I can finally see my bios screen now.

i had same issue with Asus PG259Q and the issue solved with the vBios provided from Jacob. Thanks a lot! Finally dont need to switch always between dp and hdmi on the same monitor :D

I did this and the screen never came back on... I've tried multiple times. When it goes black, I wait about 10 minutes and press the windows key and the screen doesn't come back on. I turn off the screen, press a few keys, and then the screen comes back on and tells me I aborted the bios update... Not sure what to do. I thought the update only takes a couple minutes. For reference, I have the following: MSI x570 Tomahawk Wifi 3080 TI FTW3 Ultra 5900x Monitor is an ASUS PG35VQ. Any thoughts? Edit: it worked. I tried again and pressed y a second time when the screen went black and 30 seconds later it came back on and said the update was complete. Restarted and could see splash screen and enter bios.

Seeing some good reports about this bios. I have an EVGA RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra Mfr Part# 12G-P5-3967-KR Does this bios apply to my GPU? And are there any proper steps to updating the bios? I did initially update the bios early July 21'. Current bios is 94.02.71.00.AF (Normal Mode bios) Also I've only been using Normal mode vs OC mode. Little back story: Same issue as not being able to reach the bios during boot but only with CSM disabled, "No Display Port" message. However If I change out my PG259QNR to a different monitor e.g. my Omen X 25f I can see the bios during boot. With the PG259.. I tried lowering the refresh rate, switching to HDMI, doing the Windows Recovery option forcing UEFI boot, and nothing worked except swapping monitors.

Downloaded the file. Extracted it. Ran NORMAL as administrator. Selected "Y" Got a disconnected chime. My monitor has not turned back on but the PC is still running. Help! EDIT: pressed the "Y" key several times, continued to wait. 3-4m later a device connected chime went off. Monitor booted up. Installation worked. Rebooted and I am able to reach the bios. For OC mode, do I need to change the physical switch from Normal to OC mode before I install the fix? EDIT2: the bios is very responsive too. Before with my other monitor there was a lag while pressing any key on the keyboard to navigate around the bios.

For feedback this beta bios worked for me so I can now view the bios via DP where before I had to use HDMI or set DP to version 1.2. Monitor Samsung G7.

the UEFI detection seems to be completely opposite to how Windows detect the monitor
the 4 port behind the card from left to right, HDMI DP-a DP-b DP-c
during the post, c > b > a, meaing c will have prority to display over b, and b will have priority over a
but in windows, a > b > c, meaning a will be default as primary over b and b will be over c.
confused me why my newly added monitor with displayport is monitor 1 when i swap my setup from 1 Dp + 1Hdmi to 2 monitor with dp.

Buenos días a todos. Tengo el mismo problema reportado por usted. En mi caso es una rtx 3080 ti xc3 Ultra. A menos que lo ponga en hdmi o ponga el monitor a 60hz, no puedo ver el logotipo y la información de la bios. ¿Crees que sacará la solución evga para este modelo también? Casi la devuelgo a la tienda pensando que estaba defectuosa. Si van a obtener una solución, esperaré si no la devuelgo a la tienda. Saludos y gracias.

I’m thinking this is a monitor issue. I have 3080 Ti FTW3 and have no issues with seeing the startup splash screen using display port. Doesn’t matter if it’s a cold boot or a restart. Why I think it’s a monitor issue is because my wife’s setup has an older BenQ monitor from 2013, and that has a hard time showing the startup splash screen using display port. The lack of splash screen has been present with the 1080, 2080, and 2080 Ti that have all been in her system, all former GPUs that were in my rig. When in my rig and using a newer Asus monitor, I always saw the splash screen.

It can't be from the monitor. I have a 32-inch samsung g5 and the 3070 that I had previously worked perfectly. I hope they get a vbios for my rtx 3080ti xc3. because I use the bios a lot.

there is also an update for the older card, https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/nv-uefi-update-x64/that's what I had to use to get my 980 FTW to display UEFI splash screen before. And it became an issue again after I upgraded to 3080ti. while it could be a monitor issue for you, it's just compatibility issue with dp 1.4 and high refresh rate monitor that most people experience here. after flash the beta bios provided by Jacob, everything works fine for me now.
