Title, just picked this up today and it seems to only be going up to 124% in Precision, any fix for this?

You have the oc bios on? i believe that is correct. Its 24% over the already higher power draw bios. its essentially 150%

i believe its the same thing though.
150% https://forums.evga.com/FTW3-max-Power-is-373W-150-m2862124.aspx. It already is pulling more power from factory so the 24% is just additional. Dont be fooled its higher than the rest even though it only says "24%"

What if you had a 1000 watt card which "only" went to 100% power limit? Would that need to be "fixed"?

The FTW3 has a higher wattage from the factory. Therefore "only" 124% is a greater total amount of wattage than other "reference"/"vanilla" cards with a 132% power limit.

I know in the OC bios the fans don’t turn off at idle but is the fan curve actually more aggressive? I’m using afterburner and since I don’t have fan control I wouldn’t mind the curve being more agressive

Damn. I might just have to go custom loop next build; I have been putting it off for a decade

    Its correct at 124%
You can try lowering the voltage so the overall watt is lower and your not hitting Power limit. Finding that stable sweet spot can take some time. MSI Afterburner with custom curves seems to work best.

Is maxing voltage to 100 safe? Thought it reduced life or some such?  Any warranty issues?

160 is VERY nice for an offset as is 600 on the RAM!

105 GPU and 0 on RAM here but I have not touched the Voltage offset.  Only moved power Target and Temp to 124/88.

Yes it is Safe to set the Voltage Offset to 100%
I can go as high as 1200 on the Ram, 1250 crashes.

Actually meant the voltage offset.  Is that safe?

    Thanks!
