They have in the past, don't see why this would be any different.  My current card (2016 titan) has one of them on it.

I hate waiting to give someone over a thousand dollars but here we are. I'm sure the 2080 ti hybrid will run close to $1500

Based on the rest of the pricing in the lineup of 6 cards already released, I would guess the 2080 Ti XC Hybrid will be $1300 - $1350 and the 2080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid will be $1400 - $1450. That 2080 Ti XC Hybrid pricing would also be close to what I'd guess for its competition the MSI 2080 Ti SEA HAWK X based on their pricing for the MSI 2080 SEA HAWK X at $969 (+$270 over MSRP).

Take the current pricing of these GPUs and add another $150-$200 on top for the AIO Hyrbid versions.  Same with Hydro coppers.  That's how it's always been.  Almost the same price as both being bought separately.

Will the Hybrid Kit be available at the same time as the Hybrid cards? Looking to upgrade my 2080 XC Gaming's cooling.

I reached out to Jacob on Twitter and he said the Kits will be released first.  Still no ETA yet though.

Looking like October isn't part of Soon™. I'm starting to lean toward getting 2x of the RTX 2080 Ti Founders Editions if they are back in stock again before the RTX 2080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid is available. I'm holding out on building a new rig to see if the rumors about the Intel X399 chipset are legit and if new motherboards are announced closer to when the new HEDT Intel CPUs are launched.

Planning on getting a Core i9 9900X now that the bottom two models of the X-Series have the full 44 PCIe lanes and it looks like all of the Basin Falls refresh moved to the mesh bus including the LCC, HCC, and XCC dies.

Sorry for the minor derail of the tread. Looks like you are right, not sure where I got that mixed up with CNL & CFL HEDT chips. Either way those chips will be available sometime over the next month and into December and I'll be looking at either the FE or the FTW3 Hybrid for the cards depending on availability.

I’m hoping at least preorders go up this month (November). I need to buy before EOY. If they don’t list soon I might be forced to get a Seahawk X instead since those are popping up for preorder in the UK right now.

Its quite easy the ftw board has been ready for weeks/month and its probably the same cooler/design as usual with minor differences. Ugh.

Supply would be onE thing and have enough on hand, its a new series of cards and people gotta relax as much as I hate waiting for stuff things take time. No game that I know of maxes out a 1080ti card, you may not get 150fps but the card plays that game just fine to the human eye. I'm sure if EVGA could have a ton on hand they would love to take your money and move on to the next person, early cards will have a few issues as we have all seen in this series and they are doing the best they can.

Re: RTX 20 series : Hybrid version 2018/10/30 05:23:25 (permalink)
The anger comes from the fact thatwe gotta “F5” the whole month because “comin soon tm” doesn’t give you any hint as to when they’re going to drop. And if you want to maximize your investment, you want to get it as soon as possible so you can benefit from it as soon as possible. It’s just the way AIBs handle the information surrounding these cards. If only they’d be more “honest” about their information people like me, would love to stop coming here every 30mins knowing they could very well “miss” the opportunity and have to wait months or overpay to get the desired product.

It’s just annoying.

THAT BEING SAID, i absolutely LOVE EVGA and don’t see myself going elsewhere. Had a couple of cards, OCed them, none of them broke for years heck afaik my 580/670/690 are still running in friends computers.

Good stuff

Refreshing this thread almost daily for the past month. 'Coming soon' can't come soon enough, trouble is I need a new mobo & cpu at the same time and don't want to miss the buying window for a hybrid. Hope it comes before Battlefield V.

I am from the UK just recently received my RTX 2080Ti (reference board) and am looking to buy one of these Hybrid Kits. I have always used them in the past with all my other cards, so this one will be no exception. I hope the kits come out soon!
