wonder this time is there any improvement of allowing users to replace the radiator fan conveniently.

Hello,

What do you mean radiator fan ? It's quite easy to replace as it is. I even removed the one that came with it and added two (both sides) that i prefered. It's quite straightforward.

I also replaced the fan quite easily. Threw a RIIING fan on there that was both quieter and has more airflow.

... but the Riing Controller and Software is terrible.
My recommendation: Corsair Commander Pro and a PWM fan - it doesn't matter which one...
But let's wait and see, what EVGA implement in the next Hybrid version.

The LL fans seem to be their newest RGB fans which have caught my eye.  The question would be is, are they good rad fans.

Hello,

Don't go thinking EVGA will go any different from their last version. It's most probably going to be the same kind of RAD/FAN combination. They usually go with the best COST/EFFECTIVE solution which is best for them and more-less best for us. Now, if only they'd go the QDC way and/or give us 240mm variant i'd be more than happy but hey it's cool to dream :).

While the QDC's are very convenient and expandable, they could cause unnecessary headaches as they can spring a leak.  I believe this is why most companies haven't jumped the gun on those as it's not worth the risk include with them.  You might eventually see them as EK has a few kits iirc but I think until someone creates a better mousetrap, I don't think we'll be seeing them any time soon but I could be wrong.  For external and or mobility reasons, they are great.

I've used QDC's in the past and out of the 4 sets I have, one eventually started leaking slowly.

Oh, didn't know that. If that's right and quality is soso on these QDCs then a 240mm variant would be appreciated but at this point... i mean, i've had my TitanX with the hybrid kit for what 2years ? Daily used 3-5hours in gaming more or less; they could just do the same stuff and it'll work fine.

Where can we pre-order the hybrid models? I saw recently that Newegg removed the EVGA RTX cards from their site (assuming due to stock issue). Also if you're feeling generous, can we get an estimate on pricing (USA customer).

Yeah I looked back and saw that he referenced October. But like where at? Newegg? Amazon, Evga official site? That's what I'm confused at since Newegg removed their RTX cards off the site.

I have officially decided I am going to up grade to a 2080 ti. I hope this doesn't end up like the GTX 1080. I waited so long and ended up going with the MSI seahawk. It is a great card, but I would love to have an EVGA card instead. As you can see MSI is really close to releasing their 2080 ti hybrid. If they release it before EVGA I will have to try to grab it because we all know hybrids sell out in seconds. WTB in side scoop on release date!

Side Note I am sitting here at work refreshing EVGA's product page as if it is going to magically appear lol...

I would recommend using EVGA’s store. Not only they’re the most likely to be the first to list them but they’re also the most likely to have them in stock and at the right price. If you go on Amazon you’ll see a bunch of people reselling their gpus for crazy premium prices. Also, don’t forget to register your product on the site, it works pretty well!

@Avenger411

Thanks so much buddy! I'll keep an eye out for it on the EVGA store. I haven't purchased from the store directly before. Got a few questions regarding that if anyone wants to contribute.

1. Any option for free shipping? (U.S customer)
2. Is there sales tax?
3. Do they offer PayPal as a purchase option?

1. Not an USA resident so i can't say but for CANADA they use UPS (Around 50$usd) which i believe they also use for USA which would mean, no, no free shipping.
2. I do not know if UPS's website is charging the taxes on account of where you live (state) but for me (Canada, Montreal) they do not charge taxes, well they didn't last time around (2-3years ago) for my TitanX hybrid kit.
3. Yes they do, i believe it's the safest payment option. There's also monthly payment option with "Affirm" or something like that.

Edit : couple of typos and more info.

I don't know which design you saw before, but the image corresponds to the FTW hybrid version of the 2080 that Jacob has shown to us.

I'm looking forward to see the GPU with that cooler on EU Shop

I don't know they just look different to me... Maybe it's the render or the lighting.

They added transparency in the render (to show the heatpipe and the cooler piece on site) and more light.
However, if you look to the patterns and size (and removing the  transparency to the cover), you will see that is the same imagem of the hybrid ftw3. :)

Will the stand alone hybrid kit come with a 2 slot backplate to replace the 3 slot one on the Ultra cards?

They only come with a Fan Shroud and Pump & Radiator Unit and the Hardware to Mount.
