I'm currently running a MSI MOBO AM4 socket X370 Gaming Pro Carbon with a Ryzen 5 2600 6 core 12 thread processor. My graphics card is a EVGA Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080Ti ICX DT with a 850 G3 for my power supply. I only play Destiny 2 but I would like that crisp almost 3D picture. What type of monitor would you guys suggest I use? As of now I'm using a 49in HDR 4K TV. I NEED help

What is your budget? I'd highly recommend a fast 1440P panel to begin with.

4K is nice, but to get over 100hz for the refresh rate, you'll pay a lot for a monitor.
The MadDutchDude has good advice with 1440p.

I would agree it really depends on budget but refresh rate is great place to start. The higher the refresh rate the smoother fast actions will look like turning. If you can G-sync would also be a great feature.

Really you kind of summed up what spec is best with saying time. It's all about being able to show yourself all the FPS the video card can push out.

I bought a QNIX pixel perfect monitor about 4 years ago.

2560x1440p and is able to overclock refresh rate.  Has been an awesome monitor the entire time.

I will never dip below 1440p ever again.  Also, make sure you go BIG, at least 30inch.  I think mine was around $350 when I purchased.
