Although the report was commissioned by AMD QA Consultants claims they are completely independent. Based in Toronto, Ontario, QA Consultants is the largest on-shore software quality assurance company, with a 30,000 sq. ft., industry-grade facility called The Test Factory. The test compared 12 GPU's, six from AMD and six from NVIDIA, running on 12 identical machines. All machines were configured with Windows 10 April 2018 Update. Both gaming and professional GPUs were equally represented in the testing. After running for 12 days of 24-hour stress tests, the aggregate of AMD products passed 93% of the scheduled tests. The aggregate of NVIDIA products passed 82% of the scheduled tests. Very interesting. I suppose this means that both AMD and NVIDIA could be doing a better job on their drivers.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

They used Gigabyte Nvidia cards according to one TP member. These are notorious for failures, are they not? Everywhere I read reviews about GB cards they had hardware or software related issues. GB RX Vega cards had terrible ratings by comparison to ASUS, Sapphire, XFX, PowerColor and MSI. When I was purchasing a VGA a couple of years ago I remember staying away from Gigabyte Nvidia cards as well, due to poor reviews and even worse aesthetics.

On the other hand Nvidia does seem to do a lot of driver patching, lately.

Really the test being done by AMD makes me wonder and a 10% difference is not really that big.
