This case is for my wife. My only mistake was choosing a 5870, but let me see..it ws the only high powered GPU in existence anywhere last month. Specs are: EVGA Micro X58 patriot VIPER series 1600 2 X3 Heatsink: Shuriken B revision Optical Drive: Plextor Blue ray Drive GPU: 5870 Diamond 1 TB Caviar Black i7-920 @ stock. temps are CPU: 35 idle 55 burn, GPU 33 idle and 66 GAMING . I was pulling the max while playing TF2 @ 300 FPS. I should also mention that the case was aluminum and i painted it pink and put UV pink clearcoat with some blacklight. I also had to mod the HD cage so i could plu the power pins to the 5870. thanks fsuwade. I forgot to mention the case: its an Apevia Qpack 2. Honestly it was a %^@#% building something this small. You have to go in a certain order or youll be taking everything apart like i was over and over. I remember i had it together and i forgot to plug in the mobo. lol. OMFG i was ready to throw it out the window. BTW. I got this idea from TJ harlow on youtube. Except i went overboard lol.

Eh, I don't think the 5870 was a mistake. It'll serve your wife well, NICE job. Though I am glad I chose the ATCS 840 for myself just so I have LOLroom to build in.

amazing work! Although it does look very freaking cramped inside of that small itty bitty case lol. I bet it was a huge pain in the rear to get it the way you wanted. But over all thats very good.

I only have one optical drive on top. So from the bottom of the second missing HDD to the top of the present HDD, thats where I have all the wires. If you look at the picture with the cardboard in the middle, thats what i put down to ensure the wires dont drop. I made sure that the GPU and CPU section was completely clear of wires with the exception of 1or two small power and 1394 wires. No air circulates in the middle only on the GPU and CPU side. It was a pain, but i was more concerned on how to conceal all the wires while maintaining air flow to the GPU and CPU. You cant really tell but i added a 90mm and 80 mm to the front inside of the case, and airflow is amazing.

YerBuddy Sweet! Nice job on the pain...and the rest. Components are outstanding. You did the Lady proud! thanks, I actually think i did horribly on the paint, but i did have to take it all apart twice because of mistakes or i was not comfortable with something. What i learned from painting was that you cant just clean the case and then primer and paint. I have spots (that you cant see though) that are chipping bad. So next time i will either have someone sand blast it or i will try etching primer. if anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to inform me lol. however, i did use the UV pink clearcoat and that is amazing. from Xoxide.com. I wont recoment the UV for small cases like this one because you can barely see the inside, but if you had a ATX full case, it would look amazing if your wiring is impecable.

Well, the nice thing is you can't see the "chipping paint" in the pictures. The only thing I've found is that you have to sand then primer, then sand again before primer again. Lots and lots of sanding between coats. Still looks amazing though! Congrats.
