Nice one !
Can you just add to the video title - "Build 306" so people know what version of pCARS is recorded ?
Oh and the car is called Pagani Huayra :D

Dont forget that tomorrow there will be a build version released for you to play :)

I included the build # in the credits but i will put it in the title as well.

Later in that video i switch to in the cockpit view and it appears to be really stretched. Any ideas?

Thanks!
How was driving the Huayra around the tracks ?
Oh and the tracks have strange names due to licencing.
If you want to know their real names check this list!
http://forum.wmdportal.co...Tracks-in-Project-CARS

Im off to bed, c u tomorrow !

EDIT:

The stretch seems to be related either to the FOV set in the options or the position of the seat.
Check the FOV @ Options > Camera and the seat position you have to set some binds first Options > Controls > Key Bind

lol I know, I haven't played a racing game since I bought shift 2 many months ago and I just played that a few times. It will take me a while to get used to all the tracks again. I must say I am astonished at how much detail they put into cars. I wrecked the pagoni today and the destruction was amazing. Even with all the body panels gone the detail was just crazy. I have a video of it uploading right now.

That's the view I sometimes like to race in. There are many different driving views including a inside car view and even one with racing helmet on.

In the racing world, it's called "chase cam". Typically there is a "near" and "far".

I really hope they finish the mitsubishi lancer soon. I know they started on it. I hope they add more in game customization of cars. I still need to try that photoshop editing thing.

I can't wait to, but unfortunately I haven't been able to work at all this month and won't be back at it for another week. So looks like I'll have to wait a little longer.. for now I'll keep drooling over the screenshots

lol thanks, I completely forgot about that corner! My videos don't look perfect 1080p because I have msi afterburner to record at 720p because it used to take a huge toll on my old 480. I might try again and see if my 670 can handle it. I get well over 60 frames when not recording and average about 55 when I am recording.

In download tab there is a link for KB shortcuts. You can adjust FOV in game with the [ ] keys.
Are you using a steering wheel yet? I find that it is extremely difficult to drive with the KB in this game. There is no way you can make corrections fast enough with the KB.

Keyboard and mouse is terrible for racing games. I've been using a Xbox controller. I would love to get a steering wheels and pedals, any recommendations for a cheap but still good racing wheel and pedals.

On another note, the freaking car detail is just off the charts. Full set of spark plug wires on the nascars, of course the engine tech that just lays them on the valve covers needs to be fired, but you get the idea :)

The amount of detail is astonishing to say the least. Now if EA or another company was in charge they would have ordered this game to be released about a month ago and it would be just another racer. Gotta love companies that care, especially care for the PC platform, specifically developing it on the PC platform. Now if other companies would follow suit. Maybe the founders of bioware that recently retired will form a new company and make a super awesome detailed RPG. lol

According to the upcoming games thread i think sometime in mid 2013. Full member ship is like 58 us dollars and you get to play weekly builds and get the game for free when it comes out. Thats what i did :D Cant wait for final version!

So far looking into it, im excited about the upcoming cars, I saw the full membership was $59.44. But sadly, i've barely got
$9.00 on my steam account. I hope to get the Full Membership soon.

+1 for used G25.  I picked up a new G27 for under $200.  They are almost identical and if you get more into it you can upgrade the pedals/shifter/etc.  They even have cheap spring mods for G25/27 pedals that improve the braking feel.  Make sure you have something solid to mount it to.

I played Gran Turismo games with a controller for years, but once I moved to a wheel it became a whole new experience.  On a bad day with the wheel I am faster than my best lap with a controller.
