Hey guys,
I'm a noob when it comes to next-gen gaming. I tend to prefer more casual, turn-based games like Hearthstone but recently picked up ME: SoM after being impressed with the gameplay. I've fallen down the rabit hole with this game, taking the time to do every side-mission in sight before advancing the story. The following are my brief, 2-3 sentence impressions of each game available in PYP riddled with my personal bias.
AC Unity: Seems fun with a vast and beautiful city of Paris but seen mixed reviews about the story / purpose / etc. I can forgo a good story if the gameplay is stellar (and enough different from ME: SoM which I already have). If there is generally a very high opinion of this game, I might consider getting it with a new Samsung 850 Pro SSD instead of using PYP.
Far Cry 4: Again, seems very graphically appealing with the Himalayan scenery of Kyrat but the 1st person POV generally isn't great for my stomach. Is it possible to play in 3rd person? Again, hearing mixed reviews on the story.
The Crew: Currently this seems like my most likely candidate. Never played a racing game seriously before so not sure what to expect but the vast open world for racing seems appealing. One gripe is that you can get into accidents with NPCs left and right and the game doesn't seem to take notice.
I would like to hear from you guys as to what game(s) you enjoyed and why. Your feedback is very valuable and will be seriously considered.
