Philips Releases the 278E9 Monitor: 27" VA Panel, 1080p, 1800R, FreeSync

Despite the popularity of 4K, 1080p monitors are still popular. The Philips 278E9QJAB will be available in July 2018 with an RRP of £199 (~$264). I checked Philips website and it is a 60 hertz monitor with a 4ms response rate. What I do find amazing about this monitor is that it has a VGA connector so if you have an older system you can connect to this monitor. A fine no-frills monitor at a good price but I do wish the specs were better.

    I definitely want to go higher on my next monitor. Want to go higher than 1080.
