lol now you've done it Sleinous (jk)
Try to remember it if you can. A 403 means the page exists but it hasn't been released to the public yet iirc

Well, this link goes to a forbidden page www.evga.com/12 And on the tab for the window it says HTTP 403 Forbidden I think that is just a page in the works for the anniversary, though. In the source code for the page it says this source code < p id="errorExplanation">This error (HTTP 403 Forbidden) means that Internet Explorer was able to connect to the website, but it does not have permission to view the webpage.</p>
So I think someone... not sayin' who... is trying to be a distraction.

Also this is the twelfth page so it might be good for somebody to check the source on this page after a few hours so Shane has time to update it if he's going to. I'd volunteer but I'm at work right now on my phone

Ummm... that's in the code because that is part of the text that shows up when you click on the more information button.

That was my point. Whoever said to post the 403 error quickly was being a distraction as all that code means is what that page said. I didn't mean that post was a clue at all.

Gotcha now. But, if there is a directory other than /12/ that gives a 403 error, we do want to know about it. This would mean that there is something there. That's how I knew to try things in /12/ in the first place.

cdragonm Well, after looking through some of the clues i'd like to point out your all nuts. This is sooooo easy. But since I can see what it is i'll just let the rest of ya think it through. Was pretty sneaky though, but when you just dumb yourself down it pops out like a flying penguin. So why don't you just tell us? We've been stuck on this for nearly two weeks.

Usually if we don't move through this quick enough, we lose. Like folding, this is a team based game, don't lose it for us.

I have an idea. We hook a couple of the leaf blower graphic card coolers on the Penguin and we can get it to fly :3.

Well, the only way for this whole thing to be solved is for us to work together. Why do you not want to share your solution? You know that this is not the end of it right? There will be more clues and solutions before the anniversary gets here.

I honestly do not know why I put myself through this. Your pitiful attempts to make even the simplest word game successful have removed three years from my life. I suppose you help sparing me enjoying the golden years with my favorite dog. I sometimes think to myself: of all the things you could be doing with your time, why do you waste your valuable energy on a group of barely multi-cell organisms? What was once enjoyable, is now painful... like watching a penguin trying to fly . org?

I would bet it was Shane editing it. Anyways, so do we still think it is penguin related, the next part? Also, have we figured out what that sad penguin picture i found means, if anything? Maybe now there is something with time. There were some time related words i saw in the pain page message that popped out at me and made me think about time stuff. I tried /timer, /clock, /countdown, with multiple extensions to no avail.

awalleyeguy http://www.evga.com/?/scavenger/ This is what I come up with. That just takes you to the home page with a GET variable attached. eg. ?hunt=scavenger

cdragonm I dunno, This kind of thing don't amuse me for long. Good luck with it guys :P Yea I am sure you figured it out lol. Same thing as pictures or it didn't happen. As soon as someone else figures it out I am sure you will be quick to hop on and say "no duh". Also there are plenty of people in here that no how to do all sorts of searches including easy things like "advanced google search". Problem is that we don't know what to search for. Clearly you don't either. Troll on Dragon......

awalleyeguy edit: though this goes to a 404 why not this Well last year the title of the thread was "EVGA goes to 11. Hence the EG211 directory. We actually already have the directory (www.evga.com/12) from the thread title !@ (a.k.a. 12). Problem is we do not know what file we are looking for inside there. Argh

I would have to say I probably created about 40 404's during my lunch at work ... hope I can work more on it when I get home tonight unless someone else has solved this part of the puzzle
