I'm drawing a blank too.  Seems to me we are to focus on "fly" possibly and to look to the past for inspiration.  The past inspires me to look at consistent folder structures ( ie ../12/...) for new clues etc but I cannot find a thing.  trust_me also said to look to the obvious...  The only obvious thing for me is that I am lost and that we have found ...12/...
 
One thing from the pain page bugs me, that is " Your pitiful attempts to make even the simplest word game successful have removed three years from my life". 
 
Did we or do we have a word game afoot?
Is July 16, 2011 the anniversary date? Anyone tried thing like !^)&@)!! (16072011)?  Can a web page even have special chars?

So I'm looking at pain.asp and count words from the beginning including the title to "help the penguin fly".  I get 34, 52, 85, 88.  This maps to decimal ascii codes   #4UX  ... is this "the NUMBER FOR YOU is TEN".
Ha ha ha, it's funny where a stretch of the imagination will take you.
***********CORRECTION***********
A double check of the word counts show that I missed counting one word after the word "help".  It now looks like the correct text would be  #5VY  which seem meaningless.   ---Moral of the story -- count penguin at night, not words

I believe the word game he was refering to was the "No more games. Only pain." to figure out /12/pain.asp and it was a pretty simply play on words to figure that one out.
