So the repair technician checked my system with another card. Unfortunately, it did boot with the other card.
The same with my card and it did not boot. It seems that the problem is definitely in my card then.
I have started the RMA process and am waiting for approval on the same from the Taiwan team. Hope it all goes well.
Wish me luck friends. I would not dream it for my foes even. My first build, my dream card. Nevertheless, the community was wonderful and it is great knowing there are nice ppl still around. :)
Hope EVGA is nice with the RMA proces.

I have an issue with my 2080 Ti that I believe to be a port issue...not sure if it's on the Dell 27" 2560x1440 144Hz display or the Ti..but if I don't turn on the monitor before the PC, the Dell never receives signal...I have to unplug the monitor, and plug it back in..then turn it on again, then it works...(which makes me think it's a monitor issue)...
regardless, weird stuff happens.
The card works fine other than that irritating issue

Hello there! Sorry for the late update.
The computer repair technician, checked my system with his card and it booted. Then tried my card and it did not boot. I have all the fail checks now complete to understand that the card is dead. RMA is in process. I will give you more details soon.

I had the same problem a month ago. The thing was that the pc had shut down during the night as I usually leave it on.
My GPU (1080 FTW) was the cause. Took it out and the pc started fine with cpu graphic card into windows.
Tried a new slot, nothing happened.
If you have another computer to test it with, that would help you find out if it has said goodbye forever.
My card was black dead. Not a single light.
Got my card RMA`ed to EVGA and I had it replaced with a new one.
Kudos to EVGA for fast RMA-process!

What actually happens, when u have a dead card ... do you also need to wait a year or two again to get one when in stock?

Maybe a dumb question but . . . Your PSU is at leats certified? and with enough power?
