atfrico You can up the score if you try running the bench with 1 core OC in the CPU....
Agreed. Also, Time Spy isn't too hard on the CPU, so if you can get to a 5.2-5.3GHz all-core just to run the test, you'll get a much better score. Here's mine with a 5.5, 5.5, 5.4, 5.4, 5.3, 5.3, 5.3, 5.3 per-core. I have a slightly beefier radiator on the CPU, but I would think you could get the time spy run in on yours with similar settings even if you wouldn't be able to run there for CBr23 or something.

The hard part for me is the DDR4 limitation it makes it a bit more well challenging lol even going up to 5.3ghz right now its not helping too much. 5.3 all core only netted me 200-300 points on the cpu take it I need to tweak it more.

atfrico You can up the score if you try running the bench with 1 core OC in the CPU....either way that score is beast knowing you are running the 3090ti on Air. Would you consider running the 3090ti on water? Or AIO? The reason i say this is because the new Gen of hardware IMO 🤓 will.be known as the "skip series" 🤣🤣🤣😏😼
No look at my temps the card already runs really cool, it's not a full silicon lottery chip my buddy's 3090 TI FTW3 Ultra Gaming hits 2085-2100 boost clock on its own on air. Mine does not do that. So GPU wise I may be about as high as its going to get. Zero desire for water and all that goes with it again, and an AIO EVGA is not selling them and there is not an AIO on the market for a gpu I would even trust. If I had a 1080 still or a 2080 I would upgrade to a 4090 right now even though the card is not what nvidia promised unless you use frame generation and that is a big turn off right there giving up image quality plus the latency and the fact it does not bench 2x as fast. Perfectly happy with my 3090 TI, and its only 10-20 frames behind a 4090 in the one game I care about that is even taxing for my system. The 13th gen i9 is impressive but if you are concerned about power you need a z790 board on the z690 power usage as shown on the reviews flys up, then there is the whole DDR5 is still not able to run in gear one, so you need to sort of muscle past gear two with more ram speed.

Sorry! I missed that. I actually have no idea how much DDR5 helps CPU score in that. I'm sure the comparisons are out there though.

It’s pretty interesting gear 2 on ddr4 it really hurts, gear 1 nets you anywhere from 2-3k points on ddr4 and helps your gpu score. It will also increase your minimum frames over gear 2. Now ddr5 as we know can only run in gear 2, you sort of have to muscle past that with speed. Like ddr5 at 5200mhz only nets you anywhere from 300-600 points on the cpu score. So you get ddr5 6000mhz+ and that you are looking at 1-3k points depending on the cpu and data getting to the gpu faster increasing both score. I have noticed the 12th gen i7’s getting more of a benefit out of it than the i9. The i9 will still get higher of course but having a 20k cpu score is a big jump over using ddr4 and having to oc your cpu like crazy.

Just for your sake, I hope that we all encounter a rift in the space-time continuum and get transported into the alternate timeline where Cyberpunk was the game we all expected it would be from the pre-launch hype, as opposed to the debacle that it became. Your passion is clearly evident here, and almost makes me want to go back and give the game another shot, though my poor 1080 Ti could certainly never handle it, not without some kind of SLI support.

It was everything I had hoped it would be. I didn’t listen to the overhype. Once I knew the production of a AAA title went into an Indy production pipeline, and Goldman Sachs bought enough stock to bypass the CEO & President, the crappy employee who made false allegations against the studio director taking away from the game as an investigation happened. Sadly knew what was coming. So I ignored the hype. You needed at least 32gb of ram, a faster ssd, as for a gpu my 1080 handled it alright with an i7 4770k. Only slow downs I got was in the city with the fastest cars driving as fast as I could, I didn’t experience the bugs most did due to the ram/ssd and knowing my cpu and gpu limitations in my settings. Cannot exceed the computational power of those two or you are asking for trouble. Had over 200hrs before upgrading my pc because I wanted all the eye candy.

I also caved... I tried to get a founders yet none have been in my city at Bestbuy since launch... They won't ship to other stores... The more expensive cards sure... With my case since I have not been able to get an EVGA DG-87, well some 4090's wont fit/need vertical kits, even putting some of the nicer cards in the ASUS Rog Strix Category on price. Since I know the Rog Strix OC 4090 fits in my case broke down and got that.

Made some progress today, wife helped me due to my back. Calling it for today, waiting on my Lian Li Dynamic Evo case so I can have a side panel again, still need to touch up a lot of spots in my office, put up all the artwork, do some vinyl work for the walls and once again a new case. Minus one card the past twenty years I have only owned EVGA it feels just wrong having to buy an ASUS, awesome card not going to lie. Just feels well not right.
