it is. Somewhere in there they mention  fixing the hitbox that occurs behind roadhog sometimes but no mention of making the normal hitbox smaller

I'm not really liking the 1 hero limit in competitive. I though that rule was only for tournaments.

    Also for 21:9 ratio

With there being only one real anti tank character, Reaper, it just made tanks much stronger and if you don't have a good Reaper it's game over. I didn't have an issue with multiple of the same character either other than on overtime with 5 Winston rush for capture point.

Does the 21:9 support enhance the game?  Does it really cut out 30% of the FOV?  That is crazy if it does

I think it does enhance the game as far as immersion. I used to be a big surround gamer till ultrawide and the x34 was a part of my life. Some people may not like it.
There is an FOV slider in the options. However it does cut out some FOV still. 30% sounds ridiculous.

I would guess its less than 10% with the FOV slider all the way out.

I wonder if its like 16:9 stretched and zoomed to fill the screen (like 2560x1440) zoomed and stretched?

They are so worried about providing an advantage the cropped the top and bottom portion slightly.

They dont address things like, mechanical keyboard, gaming mice, better system specs higher (frame rates), better internet conn (less lag), surround sound(real or simulated), high end headphones, g sync monitors or any other technology being an advantage.

I dont know why they are sticklers and being jerks about 21:9. All they have to do is lock the FOV at what they think is a fair place when in 21:9 mode. Rather than crop the top and bottom. Either way it still provides more immersion for me and I love when the game fills my ultrawide.

people have been raging since launch on the forums about no 21:9 support. I feel its more of an advantage in games like WOW where I can zoom way out and see the whole raid. where as people on laptops or smaller 16:9 cant see the people at the edges

    wow still supports it

Not true - Diablo 3 runs natively in 21:9 now

EDIT: At least it did last time I played it 2 months ago
