Max clocks I got are 2068/6870. Sad to say the pump just died so I'm going to RMA. Won't let me post pictures. here is a link.

Same here, the pump of my 1080ti sc2 hybrid died today.
Bought it on 06/2017, so only over a year ago.
Seems that the pump is the real weakness of those cards.

Hello,
I have the 1080Ti SC2 Hybrid and wanted to know about the Power temperature ruining about 10 degrees + hotter than the GPU temperature. I’m clocking the GPU at 2025 and the memory at 6003. My GPU temperature will run about 59 and the Power temperature will run at 69. Is this normal or is this something I should try to fix?

Also my card is getting 88 degrees in PUBG with quiet fan curve. Should i be worried ?
One time PWR3 show 127 degrees max but i notice that every time this sensor is different than the other so there may be a problem with it .

Your temps are still in the acceptable range, but I would definitely recommend running a higher fan speed when gaming.

So....without CPU overclock and only with an 1080ti OC ( 100% power +30 Gpu and +300 mem ) I got this result......

any other test for the 1080ti?

Here are my puppies (a mix of a SC & SC2 cards) using nickel EK-FC GeForce GTX FE blocks. Please note that although EKWB doesn't specify the SC2 in the compatibility list, the "EK-FC GeForce GTX FE" family of blocks fit correctly. The non-FE models won't fit the SC2 without modification to the card (fan header).

Hello All,

This is my current setup, very similar to OctavianH's system just above. Old school too!

Coming up from an EVGA 1060 SC which looked tiny!

Current system since a few days

System is now
4790k@4.6Ghz (Delidded with LM)
Asus Z97-A/USB3.1
32 GB RAM DDR3 1600 Mhz
EVGA GTX1080Ti SC2
EVGA 750 G3 PSU
500GB Samsung 850EVO - OS drive
2x 1TB Micron 1100 - Games
4TB WD RED -
Thermaltake Suppressor F31 CASE

I also have some issues but I will discuss in a separate thread.

She's ugly, but it works.
EVGA GTX 1080 ti FTW3
+105/+650 - 2101/6156 (just broke 2.1ghz wewt!)
gpu 33c
power 42c
memory 41c
ambient 27c

Eventually I'll get the Thermaltake Core X9 and put 3 x 480XE rads in it. More than likely when Zen2 hits. Overkill maybe?

You have enough cooling capacity to easily put the CPU and another GPU in without issue. Don’t worry about getting more rads... get that CPU under water!! :D

No worries, eventually i will =). My goal is sub 40c.
I'll piece it together over the next couple months.
I need fan controllers anyways. Mobo isn't cutting it.
Obviously my case is too small for all of whats already in it.

Update: With fan controllers.
Stupid motherboard :/

This is at max. Although the D5 lets out a high pitch whine when maxed, at about 2/3 speed it goes away. Temps come up to around 35c, so not too bad. At the very least, I got what I wanted. Waiting on my cpu block to get here tomorrow, but my fittings wont get here until Friday =(. As for the noise at max, its still loud, but way quieter/more tolerable than the three stock fans at 75%. Everything at 2/3 is very acceptable. Fan controllers are a must. Manual control over pump/fans is in my opinion way better than letting the mother board decide.

All in all, im very happy I went custom loop. Its expensive, but in my eyes, very well worth it.

Have they stopped making these cards? Tried to buy on Amazon but always out of stock even on other websites. When will the stock replacement be? Or have you stopped making these cards altogether as i've heard?

From what ive heard/read, once theyre gone, they'll not be making anymore. When that happens, I have no idea.
The only other alternative is the RTX 2080.
