Yeah, I was a little disappointed that such expensive card and high promises didn't pan out. But at least I can play witcher 3 all maxed out haha. Well under max setting on GTA5 at 1080p and where fps drops do occur its taxing GPU at 100% usage so I think its just a very graphically demanding. But yeah CPU/GPU power is definitely limited the resolution and refreshr ate. Just saving now to get a 1080p (144hz) or more to get 1440p (144hz).

I wouldn't worry, the 1080 Ti is a monster of a card. I play all of my games at 3440x1440 @ 90fps with little trouble at all. The Witcher shouldn't be very demanding at 1080p unless you have hairworks on. I noticed this game got very demanding at 3440x1440 though. Those are two very demanding games so I wouldn't worry too much. How are your other games? The 1080 Ti should be eating 3 games at once over 1080p. I will see if I can crank GTA 5 up on my system as I haven't run it over 3440x1440 with my Ti yet.

I’ve only played BF1 so far on in it other than the witcher 3 and gta 5. But BF1 plays very well at everything maxed out. Will have a go on few more games. Gonna get the new Wolfenstein but I doubt it’ll have trouble playing it as it runs on Vulkan just like doom.
But yeah if you could let me know about your gta5 performance that would be great!

BF1 is very easy on the GPU although some areas and maps do get quite busy. I'll let you know how GTA5 goes.

I purchased one of these puppies, 1080 Ti SC,  and it runs BF1 without any problems, and it runs cool.

All of them have same PCB and VRM or there is some differences?
I see clock is same. Probably and everything else only coolor and shroud are difference?

The ftw3 gaming card has 11ghz memory.. the hybrid is a water cooled version of the same card. The Elite gaming card is different as it has newer fast 12ghz ram.

Thanks... I didn't know for that.
This card is nice... it's very well made.
It's not like Sapphire or Powercolor models.

Maybe is better FTW3, I mean on FTW3 model with 1569MHz Clock, but SC2 clock is very similar almost same.
But my opinion is most because FTW3 have 3 fans and probably is board and VRM better.
My vote GTX1080Ti FTW3 Gaming (11G-P4-6696-KR).

This is great GPU, no doubt. It's not K|NGP|N but it's not to far.

here are mine but also i would like to ask you about my problem

till yesterday i used to oc Precision
whenever i do that after OC, even gpus keep the clocks, i get lower performance.
I posted my scores and they were not good comparing to others

The problem is there are tiny drops in fps in the rhythm of heartbeat and in overall performance is lost
In here you can see GPU OCed with asus tool and precision - the lower one
https://www.3dmark.com/compare/spy/2764056/spy/2764092#

you can see it easy in timespy when with asus tool fps is rock solid and precision makes it drop every few seconds

have any of you ever seen something like this?

7980XE @ 4,98GHz | 32GB @ 4294 CL17/17/17/37 | X299 DARK | 2xRTX2080Ti @ 2130MHz | 2,5TB NVMe(intel) | 1600W T2

Ok, so here is my PC with my new EVGA 1080 Ti SC2 Hybrid Gaming installed:

A note to EVGA engineers, in a 61 cm tall case like my Corsair Obsidian 800D it is impossible to mount radiator anywhere except where I put it and using lower PCI-Express slot is out of the question -- the hoses are too short.

A note to Corsair engineers, The Corsair Obsidian 800D has been and still is a horrible boxed case overall.

Your Hybrid computer ls great, only big Air cooler little make picture strange.
You have SBZxR. I suffer with that cable but than I success to hide him.
Sound Blaster ZxR is important part of my computer, much more than some people could think.
Sound is important almost as graphic and processor power and I didn't miss chance to upgrade SBZ to SBZxR for 70$ price difference.
I got better and 4 years newer, I mean unused sound card, my was used 4 years.

God, I must change case and cooling urgently.
Computer suck all our money, but at least make us happy. And happines no price.

Just ordered a 1080 Ti FTW3 to replace my 1070 SC's . Wanted to get 2 but just got 1 for now. Not many games support SLI nowadays. Maybe I'll get a second one later when I really need to.

Smart.

Thanks  . I've been always an SLI guy since 7900 GTX days . But it's really annoying when I pay this much to eventually find out that games does not support SLI on day one or even won't ever support SLI.

I mainly play GTA V and BF 1. Those a good titles for SLI. but newer games like Assassin's creed Origins or Wallenstein 2 does not. But I think 1080 Ti FTW3 should handle games 60+ on 3440x1440 resolution.

My brand new and first ever gpu from EVGA - 1080ti FTW3 Gaming Elite White 12Ghz
These are some of my latest bench results, i'm not an axpert in OC but i'm learning
1949mhz stable boost on stock and around 2050MHz in OC.

(Fire strike crashes if i put more than +75MHz on core while Superposition is stable with +90MHz)
Memory +500MHz seems to work good, but i have to make somo more tests, if i put +550MHz i get artifacts.

Just ordered a 1080 Ti FTW3 to replace my 1070 SC's . Wanted to get 2 but just got 1 for now. Not many games support SLI nowadays. Maybe I'll get a second one later when I really need to.

Really?...I'm tryin' here and all I see is AutoNotify or specific color Blue (Sold Out).

Was able to snatch mine from Amazon. But It was immediately sold out. I think they still have the SC Black in stock, but I wanted to go FTW this time around :) But If you want to order the colored shrouds, it has to be through EVGA store. Unfortunately I can't do that because I am not located in the US. Otherwise, all my EVGA purchases would be directly from EVGA. Hope this could change some day.

Thanks! And let me say before someone mentions it. Yeah that's a lot of thermal goop! Was a new tube and first row of the * came out fast on me and had to even it out with the rest.. it was one of those moments.. haha. First thought was yeah.. better too much then not enough as the saying goes. No way was I gona clean if off and waste it.

Oh and damn was those thermal pads sweating! Massive oil coming off them and funny how I didn't realize it then but now looking back at the pics. :/ that was only a couple hours of use!

Oh and the temps! 20-22c idle and 30-34c tops while gaming! 2100mhz+ and 13120mhz ram. :)

I originally ordered a ftw3 elite black 12ghz but my order got mixed with someone else ☹. Long story short I ended up with this. So far so good 😊
